The chairman of Hamas’s overseas political bureau was killed in Iran early on Wednesday morning, according to Iranian government sources and Hamas.
Ismail Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards were killed by a missile in his Tehran guest house at 2 a.m. local time. The strike “was carried out by means of a missile launched from country to country, not from within Iran.”
The Hamas leader lived in Qatar but left Qatar to visit Iran for the inauguration of Iran’s new president Masoud Pezeshkian.
This is Iran’s guest house in northern Iran where Ismail Haniyeh, Iran’s Top Political Leader was killed July 31, 2024. He was staying in a secret house as a guest of the IRGC where the house was supposed to be hidden by mountains and trees. But nothing can hide from Israeli justice.
Israel’s Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli tweeted, “Careful What You Wish For,” accompanied by a video of the Iranian parliament chanting “Death to Israel” during Tuesday’s inauguration while Haniyeh nodded in approval.
This shows the windows blown out on the apartment where Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was eliminated.
Now this is called precision as only his apartment was targeted. Other guests who were staying in the house were not injured.
Israeli Heritage Minister Amihai Eliyahu tweeted that “this is the right way to clean the world of this filth. No more imaginary ‘peace’/surrender agreements, no more mercy … The iron hand that will strike them is the one that will bring peace and a little comfort and strengthen our ability to live in peace with those who desire peace. Haniyeh’s death makes the world a little better.”
