A prophecy: The word of the Lord concerning Israel.
The Lord, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares: 2 “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. 3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.
The fulfillment of 100’s of prophecies in the modern history of the State of Israel is God’s great sign to mankind. Israel stands as a billboard to the world as to what God is doing today! A sign that no one can mistake or deny. God’s unique dealings with bringing Israel back into existence in 1948, before a watching, modern world, is irrefutable proof that He exists and is guiding history according to His Word.
For example, since Putin invaded Ukraine 4 months ago, over 16,000 Jews have left Russia for Israel and over 10,000 have left Ukraine for Israel. God’s hand is at work as the chosen people continue to pour into Israel from around the world every week.
The fact that God gave Israel her land, took her out of it and scattered her throughout the world only to bring her back centuries later is a supernatural story unique in the annals of history. It is beyond the possibility of chance and without ordinary explanation!
More importantly, her return is written out for us and is the running theme of the Old Testament prophets who explain that in the last days there will come a ‘Second Exodus’ from many nations that will stand as a greater feat by God than the first Exodus from Egypt.
The passage quoted at the beginning is one of the most remarkable in the Bible. It was written by Zechariah 2500 years ago at a time when Israel was in ruins and sitting as wilderness.
The idea that Jerusalem would recover its glory, become the center of international attention and that the whole world would tremble with concern over the tiny nation of Israel seemed utterly impossible. Yet today, as foretold, Jerusalem is front page news and on the lips of the nations of the world. Irrefutable evidence of divine inspiration.
The Bible’s prophecies concerning the Jews, Jerusalem and Israel are specific, preposterous and impossible. Yet they are being fulfilled to the letter. Praise God! This means that only God can be the author of the Bible, the Jews are His chosen people, and Israel is back in the land that God gave them. Woe to the nations that seek to frustrate the promises which God gave Israel!

Israel’s ‘Second Exodus’

Signs and More Signs
‘The Return and Reign
of Jesus Christ’
7/26/22 by Tim Buck
Did you know
the Bible contains more prophecies about the Second Coming of Jesus than it does the First? In fact, the Bible says specific signs will appear prior to His return, and Jesus Himself commanded us to look for those signs!
The world’s problems and end-of-the-age prophetic signs are rapidly increasing which is one of the reasons we’re going to take a close look at the prophesies of Zechariah.
Zechariah 12–14 is loaded with end time signs! It’s hard to count them all with over 100 prophesies in 44 verses! The 3 chapters offer one of the most sweeping end-time passages in the Bible as God presents details of Israel’s future in graphic detail.
Remember how Israel was in captivity for 70 years in Babylon? Zechariah was probably born in those years and travelled back to the land to rebuild the temple.
Writing around 500 BC, the first 11 chapters focus on Christ’s first coming while chapters 12-14 focus on events surrounding the second coming of Jesus.
Zechariah 12-14 simply has no equal in the Old Testament. The prophecy is one of the richest prophetic passages, rising above all others in terms of the breadth of detail that it covers.
The extensive prophecy covers Israel’s dramatic last days beginning with today’s modern era including Israel’s return and re-birth in 1948 and her modern wars (’48, ’67, ’73). It continues through the Tribulation period with the dramatic repentance and salvation of Israel.
Beginning in chapter 14 the prophet moves into the Millennial Kingdom where we see the Tribulation survivors going up to worship King Jesus from year to year in the Feast of Tabernacles with Jesus on His Throne in Jerusalem.
The one challenge to the reader is that while most information is in chronological order, it sometimes circles back to highlight new details of a topic already discussed. The book of Revelation follows this same pattern. This can be a challenge at first as it jumps backwards without warning.
It also helps to know the prophecy contains 3 distinct invasions of Israel as follows:
1. The Arab invasions of Israel’s modern wars, (1948, 1967, 1973) Zech. 12:4-9
2. Antichrist’s invasion of Israel in the middle of the Tribulation capturing the West Bank and East Jerusalem (‘half the city’ – 14:2) – Zech. 14:1-3
3. The Battle of Armageddon offering a graphic depiction of nuclear war and God’s defeat of the nations – Zech. 14:4-7, 12-15

Tim’s friend, Dr. Sam Slobodian, will be leaving August 2 for his third trip to Ukraine focusing on war relief efforts with the BIEM Mission Team. Once again Sam will be helping the distressed, delivering supplies and holding prayer meetings. Please remember Sam in your prayers and pray for his safety and that he would be a blessing to those in need.

Dear friends and family,
1. Praise God, we have shipped another large container from the United States! This is the 7th container our dedicated Ukrainians are distributing to needy places. This one went to the city administration of a region that contains several settlements that were occupied by Russian forces, so these goods will reach some of the neediest recipients in Ukraine.
2. We rejoice that the Keller family has received their documents to travel to the United States. At first, only Alexandra and the girls received travel documents. We were concerned since none arrived for Vitaly, the only family member who is not a Ukrainian citizen. Vitaly has Russian citizenship, so we thought this might be a problem. However, yesterday Vitaly, too, received his travel documents. Praise God!
3. Soon I will be making another trip to Ukraine, leaving August 2. We will be in 3 or 4 cities in the west, then 3 or 4 cities near Kyiv, including areas where the Russian army invaded from Belarus to attack Kyiv before being driven out. Ukrainian forces have now liberated over 1,000 settlements that had been occupied by Russian forces. Besides focusing mainly on war-relief efforts, we will also partake in a baptism and an ordination.
4. Praise the Lord, on our website BIEM has now posted nearly 60 videos featuring our Ukrainian missionaries distributing aid. If you have not seen these videos, please go to our website (BaptistInternational.org) and click on “View Video Updates” beneath the main banner. If you have already viewed these videos, you may have noticed that our men often wear hand-me-down t-shirts of all sorts.
Pray For Souls To Be Saved
At Summer Camps Across Ukraine
5. Since Russia continues to bomb Ukraine indiscriminately, no place in Ukraine is totally safe from bombs and missiles. Nevertheless, our missionaries are conducting summer camps all over Ukraine. Right now, it looks like we will operate between 25 and 30 camps in Ukraine this summer.
This week we ordered custom t-shirts with “BIEM” and American & Ukrainian flags imprinted on them. When we asked what color they wanted, they replied military green, which their president often wears. So that’s what we ordered, and they look great! Our coworkers are really looking forward to receiving these t-shirts, which I plan to deliver personally.
This year, all our Ukrainian day camps are being conducted on church properties, where campers can spend the day and eat their meals but return home every evening. Meanwhile, our missionaries in other areas like Russia, Belarus, and Central Asia are also conducting summer camps.
Please pray for a harvest of souls and for inroads into many unchurched homes.

France President Emmanuel Macron urged the resumption of talks towards a two-state solution with the Palestinians and Israel, which he called “the only option to enable a just and lasting peace”.
The End Time Sign
For The Two-State Plan
7/19/22 by Tim Buck
Thanks to Joe Biden’s recent pandering to the Palestinians, the two-state solution is making front page Middle East headlines for the first time since President Trump presented his well thought out peace plan in 2019.
I said in 2019 that the Trump plan was by far the most well thought out, two-state plan ever conceived and was so brilliant it could likely become the template for the final plan that prophecy says will be confirmed by Antichrist before the start of the Tribulation (Daniel 9:27).
Although prophesied to happen, God warns Israel not to divide the land under any conditions or they will suffer the consequences of His wrath in the Tribulation (Joel 3:1-3).
Giving back any land to the Palestinians, let alone the heartland of Judea and Samaria, the so-called, “West Bank,” is tantamount to Joshua offering to give back Jericho to the Canaanites. It is an offense to Almighty God who gave Abraham and his descendants all the promised land for eternity!
Yesterday, the Times Of Israel reported that “A senior Saudi minister described normalizing ties with Israel as a “strategic option,” while clarifying that a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians was a “requirement” before Riyadh would formalize ties with Jerusalem.”
This means the official line of Saudi Arabia is that while they may be willing to join the Abraham Accords, the ticket price of their admission is nothing less than the dividing of the land of Israel in the two-state solution.
And France’s President Emmanuel Macron would dearly love to broker that deal with Israel and the Palestinians.
For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
1 Thessalonians 5:2-3
After Biden’s visit last week, the Middle East is buzzing with talk of the two state solution between Israel and the Palestinians!
FROM THE TIMES OF ISRAEL:
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will hold talks with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris this week focusing on the “Israeli-Palestinian peace process.” Direct peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians have not been held since 2014.
Emmanuel Macron: ‘There is no credible alternative to the two-states solution with Israel.’
Macron said, “What can resolve the crisis between Israel and Palestine, surely not unilateral initiatives, nor trampling on the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to legitimate peace. Nor underestimating Israel’s fair right to security. There is no credible alternative to the two state solution, living side by side in peace and security with Jerusalem as the capital of both nations.”
Tim’s Note: How can anyone be so foolish and blind. Satan wants Israel divided to have a better opportunity at exterminating the State of Israel.
The good news for the church is that these are the last days and with the two-state plan getting closer, it is a strong sign of the soon return of the Lord. Dividing the land is one of the last things to happen before the 7-year Tribulation begins! Keep looking up!

Prophecy In The News This Week
7/15/22 by Tim Buck
Note: There is so much news in relation to Bible Prophecy this week, I’ve decided to include multiple current events articles here, all at once.
In a UAV strike this past Tuesday, the US assassinated the leader of ISIS in Syria, while severely wounding another senior ISIS official who eventually succumbed to his wounds.
The two terrorists were traveling outside Jindayris in northwest Syria at the time. Maher al-Agal was responsible for many attacks within the country, and was developing ISIS outside of Syria and Iraq. “The removal of these ISIS leaders will disrupt the terrorist organization’s ability to further plot and carry out global attacks,” said CENTCOM spokesman Col. Joe Buccino.
President Joe Biden landed in Israel Wednesday, arriving with a record low approval rating of 33% and a 40-year high inflation rate of 9.1%. He is destroying the American economy.
Yet, with that record and the knowledge that nearly two-thirds of those in his own party don’t want him to run again in 2024, he did his best to tell Israel how he will help them make everything happy with the Palestinians.
While there, he pushed the two-state solution and reaffirmed his intention to open a Palestinian Consulate in Jerusalem, a slap in the face to the Israeli government.
There have now been 12 US presidential visits to Israel. One each from Richard Nixon and Jimmy Carter. Bill Clinton came calling 4 times, George W. Bush (twice), Barack Obama (twice) and Donald Trump (once).
Out of all these, none – not even Trump, Israel’s best friend ever in the White House – attempted to verbalize support for the Jewish state as did President Joe Biden on this trip. He appears to model the spirit of Antichrist who will “come in peaceably” with many flatteries (Daniel 11:32) and woo Israel with promises of peace and security before turning against them and seeking their extermination.
Today he’s in Saudi Arabia. While there, he will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, a man he once said must be held accountable for the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. That get-together could be awkward. I do not expect that Biden will receive the same kind of celebratory reception when he arrives as did President Trump.
Russia continues to strangle Ukraine. Moscow has taken over 22% of the agricultural land and has burned wheat fields in other parts. The 20% of Ukraine that Putin already controls contributes approximately half of the nation’s GDP. If they take the districts of Mykolaiv and Odessa, Ukraine will be left with only 25% of their GDP and no seaports for trade.
The Ukraine war continues to have a crippling effect on the world’s food industry and economy.
Moscow’s relationship with other Central European nations continues to deteriorate. On Monday, the Russian #KILLNET hacking network launched a cyberattack on the Polish Tax Authority causing all sorts of havoc. Tensions with Lithuania were continuing to grow as the Baltic country expanded its restrictions on goods that they would allow to pass through to the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.
However, just yesterday, the EU caved to Moscow’s pressure and said that it was okay for Russian goods to travel through Lithuania by rail to Kaliningrad. The Vilnius government, which had only been following the EU’s sanctions, breathed a sigh of relief and said that it would not ignore “the positions and assessments” of the other nations.
Gog and Magog: The Russian invasion of Ukraine has made it popular for prophecy teachers today to tout the ongoing war in Ukraine as having a connection to the Battle of Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38-39. However there is simply NO CONNECTION. Putin is not Gog and Magog is not Russia. In Ezekiel 38-39, Gog is Antichrist and Magog points to Turkey not Russia.
The Battle of Gog and Magog in Ezekiel is simply the prophet Ezekiel unpacking the story of the Battle of Armageddon which takes place at the end of the Tribulation not during the Church-Age. We should not assume Russia’s actions are a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. To hear my teaching on the Magog Invasion go HERE.
Turkey, Iran and Russia: Next Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel to Tehran, where he will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
One of the primary purposes for the trilateral summit is the boosting of economic cooperation with Iran. The ties between these countries continues to grow.
Just on Monday, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan announced that Iran was preparing to provide several hundred military drones to Russia for use against Ukraine. Over just the past several weeks, 25 military cargo flights have been conducted to Russia from Iran.
Iran continues to supply arms to its proxy militias in Iraq and Syria. However, the actual delivery of these supplies isn’t always successful. On Saturday, a shipment from Iran that had passed through Iraq was destroyed in Deir a-Zor, Syria. In other Iranian weapons news, Iran has reached the capability for the 90% enrichment threshold needed for nuclear bombs. This adds them to the list of other threshold countries who have the technology and resources for nuclear weapons, but has not taken the step of building them yet.
Ahmad Sales, member of the Popular Defense militia that is connected to Hezbollah in the Golan area, was assassinated in southern Syria. It appears to be an Israeli targeted killing.
Finally, on Tuesday, the Israeli Air Force and the Greek Air Force conducted another joint training simulation. The exercise included both air-to-air combat, as well as refueling operations. While already enjoying close diplomatic relations, the two countries are drawing even closer as they see great opportunities ahead in the area of energy.
Thank you again for your prayers and your financial support of this ministry.
Attention all FOTET friends, you are invited to join us next spring for our tour of Israel. We will also be visiting the country of Jordan where you will experience the amazing rock city of Petra and here my teaching on, “Six reasons why Petra is likely where God protects the Jewish remnant during the Tribulation.”
The dates are April 25-May 6, 2023. We would love you to join us on this trip of a lifetime. You can reserve your seat HERE while we still have room.
We are looking forward to our next teaching on August 9 from the prophet Zechariah which I’m now calling Part One!
Chapters 12-14 are packed with such a sweeping overview of end time prophecy events, from the modern wars of Israel through the Tribulation and into the Millennial Kingdom, that it will take multiple classes to cover these wonderful chapters. Please read Zechariah 12-14 and discover what a blessing they are.
We are grateful to everyone for the positive response to the “Fill The Tables” challenge to help the ministry grow in 2022. We are living in a fascinating period of the last days and people are hungry for truth about our upside-down world.
Bible prophecy is not like fortune-telling, which is occasionally accurate but most of the time not. God’s requirement was that a prophet be accurate 100 percent of the time or be stoned to death (Dt. 18:20–22).
God has called our ministry to teach Bible prophecy which is serious business making up some 27% of scripture. Sadly, the topic of prophecy is neglected by most pulpits today even though preachers are commanded to “preach the whole counsel of God.”
During these next couple weeks in particular we would appreciate your intercession.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Awaiting His Return,
