The Beattitudes of Prophecy

Everyone wants to “be blessed” but a lot of Christians may not understand that there are special blessings for learning prophecy. When it comes to reading and studying prophecy and the book of Revelation, Jesus promised three special blessings or beatitudes found no where else in the Bible,

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near.”(Revelation 1:3)

Blessed are those who read.

Blessed are those who hear.

Blessed are those who keep the things which are written.

Focus on the End Times heralds the good news that Jesus is coming again! For many years, Tim has been warning the church about the signs of the end times and teaching how to identify the signs surrounding the coming of Jesus.

These blessings belong to all God’s children as many students of prophecy have experienced and they are part of Tim’s personal testimony. At age 20, God used Bible prophecy to draw Tim to salvation. Shortly after becoming a Christian, he spent 4 years in Bible College and 4 years in Seminary preparing for the ministry.

After seminary and entering the ministry, Tim began his lifelong journey of discerning Biblical prophecy and teaching how it applies to us today. It’s become his personal challenge to demonstrate the love of God through teaching prophecy while warning the church to be ready. Getting the facts straight is important but not as important as a life that glorifies the Lord,

“I charge you  to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords,  who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.”

1 Thess. 6:14-16

I’m convinced that Islam is the single greatest challenge the Church will face before the return of Jesus, yet most are still either asleep or in denial.

Statement of Faith

The Trinity

We believe the Trinity exists in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three Persons are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes and perfection.

God

We believe there is only one true and living God. He is our creator and the One to whom all praise and glory are given. He is perfect in all ways and in all things. Through God, all things are possible.

The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in His eternal existence as God; His incarnation and Virgin Birth, His death on the cross as the substitutionary atonement of sin; His literal bodily resurrection from the dead; His present ministry of intercession in heaven; His Personal calling up of the church in the Rapture and His future return to earth at the Second Coming.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, convicts men of sin and regenerate, baptizes, indwells, seals and sets apart believers unto a holy life; keeps and empowers believers day by day; and is the Teacher of the word of God and the guide for daily living.

The Scriptures

We believe in the absolute verbal inspiration of the Word of God and that both the Old and New Testaments are perfect in the original writings and are the supreme and final authority for faith and life.

Man

We believe that God created Adam and Eve in His image, but they sinned when tempted by Satan. In union with Adam, human beings are sinners by nature and by choice, alienated from God, and under His wrath. Only through God’s saving work in Jesus Christ can we be rescued, reconciled, and redeemed.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace, a free gift of God apart from works. Salvation involves repentance, a turning from one’s own way to God’s way and seeking forgiveness of one’s own sin. Salvation is through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. All who receive Jesus Christ are born again and regenerated by the Holy Spirit to become the children of God. This true salvation will be manifested by a changed life. Grace is the way we are saved, the means by which we are changed, and the door that gives us eternity with Jesus.

The Future

We believe in the Pretribulational Rapture of the Church. Following the rapture will be the 7 year Tribulation. The Tribulation will culminate in the Premillennial, Second Coming of Jesus Christ to when Christ will reign on the throne of David in Jerusalem for 1000 years. Unbelievers will be resurrected at the end of the Millennium, and stand before God at the White Throne judgmenthe New Heavens and New Earth will be the final destination of all believers.

Values of Life

We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image.  Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death.

Marriage

We believe “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one biological man and one biological woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture.

Biblical Morality

God loves all people.  He sent His Son to die for us so that we can have relationship with Him and become new creations. A changed life is the result. We believe that the Bible is the standard of behavior for Christians in all areas of life, including financial, inter-personal, emotional, spiritual and sexual.  The Bible forbids sexual activity outside of marriage.  It teaches us to be people of integrity: trustworthy, honest, reliable and honoring of others.
