Twinkling or Blinking of an Eye
Don’t be a procrastinator for Jesus! Today is the day to be sold out to Him… not tomorrow!
Because of the Rapture, tomorrow may never come!
When the trumpet sounds, and the shout from the archangel is heard, it will be too late to surrender your life to the Lord.
When Jesus comes, it’s over… and it happens fast!
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Cor. 15:51-52)
There are numerous definitions of the “Twinkling/Blinking” of an eye. If the Apostle Paul is describing the speed of the rapture as a “Twinkle,” then he’s describing something so fast, it’s difficult to comprehend.
The “twinkling of the eye” is the time it takes for light to enter the eye, reach the back of the eye, and be reflected back out. Light travels at 186,000 miles per second, so the Twinkle is about one billionth of a second.
The “Blinking” is a bit slower. But still too fast to recognize. A blink lasts somewhere between 300 and 400 milliseconds, or considerably less than half a second.
Taking both of these into consideration, the reason why the Apostle Paul used this term was to assure us of the supernatural miracle of the Rapture. There is no human effort! It assures us that no one can impede it, slow it down, drag their feet or add anything to it.
When it’s on, it’s on, and up we go! In the millisecond it takes to be raptured, we will find ourselves in the presence of the Lord! We will “meet the Lord in the air.” Let’s just say it’s a supernatural event that takes place super-fast!
From Earth to Heaven and Back: A Tour You’ll Never Forget
Believers that are still alive at the trumpet sound, will instantly receive their glorified bodies, designed to last forever, and ascend to be with Jesus.
The Believer’s Itinerary after the Rapture is almost too amazing to comprehend. At the Rapture we will be escorted by Jesus up to the Father’s House in heaven. Imagine that trip!
The church will spend seven years in heaven with the highlight being the marriage of the Lamb just prior to descending back to earth with Jesus at His Second Coming! Revelation 19 depicts us on horses as the army of heaven accompanying Jesus to the Battle of Armageddon!
Every believer will make this roundtrip from earth to heaven and back. What a tour is in our future!
The “Twinkling/Blinking” could happen at any second. Just looking at the condition of this world today, everything spoken of by Jesus, Paul and the prophets is very much here.
Don’t make the mistake of believing in can’t happen today! Because when it happens, it will be long over before you even realize it took place. Hallelujah!
Today, right now, would be a good time to call on Him.

The topic of our upcoming class is the Rapture and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. To help you be prepared for the class, you may want to read Revelation chapters 4-6.
I love those 3 chapters because they cover the rapture of the church, before the Tribulation begins and the scene around God’s Throne immediately following the rapture. I love seeing the Lamb who was slain take the seven-sealed scroll and break loose the four Horsemen.
Over the next two weeks, I’d like to give a brief overview of the four horsemen and their meaning in Revelation 6. We’ll cover the first two Horses this week and the final two horses next week.
There are many movies and shows that deal with apocalyptic circumstances, and many of us have heard reference to the four horsemen. But where does the idea come from? Are they real people? What do they do?
In Revelation 6 Jesus opens seven seals of judgment to begin the Tribulation period on earth. The first four seals he opens are the four horsemen, and each one carries the wrath of God which is released from heaven to usher judgments on the earth.
While some apocalyptic judgments are specific events, these four last throughout the first half of the Tribulation and beyond. Here’s a look at the first two horsemen and their symbolic meaning:
The White Horse
“And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.” (Rev. 6:1-2)
The rider on the white horse is Antichrist. He will rise just prior to the Tribulation by taking control of the 10 King Empire and making a peace treaty with Israel. He will be a deeply religious leader that operates on behalf of his false god Allah (Dan. 11:39).
His power and authority will come from the dragon (Satan), and like Satan he is a great deceiver. The symbol of him on a white horse aptly illustrates his deceptive nature for Jesus also returns to earth on a white horse (Rev. 19:11-14).
Satan’s purpose has always been to counterfeit the work of Christ. By the second half of the Tribulation, Antichrist will break his peace treaty and wage open war against Israel.
The Red Horse
“Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.” (Rev. 6:3-4)
The next horse is the red horse. The blood-red appearance speaks of the holocaust of war and bloodshed. God will grant this horse the power to create war. Think about that for a moment! We are told the red horse takes peace from the earth and that he wields a great sword! What do you think that BIG SWORD means?
Here’s how I view that big sword. Most likely, the “great sword” is God’s way of warning us that the coming 10-King Caliphate may possess nuclear weapons and won’t be afraid to use them!
Nations rise against nations during the Tribulation because they’re stirred up by the spirit of the Red Horse sent out from the Throne of God.
We know the red horse spirit of war lasts through the entire Tribulation because Jesus said if he didn’t return after seven years, no one would be alive.
This will be seven years like no other in history filled with murder, assassination, bloodshed, revolution, and war.

New realities are emerging in the Middle East
Since the Syrian war broke out in 2011, Israel has been the only military force able to oppose Iran.
Overnight, Israel finds itself in a new season in which the Iranians are free to attack the Saudi oil infrastructure and the Turks are free to invade Syria.
How is all of this effecting Israel!

Israeli soldiers stand guard near the Quneitra crossing in the Golan Heights on the border between Israel and Syria
Trump’s Syria Pullout is Great for Israel
While some in the pro-Israel community have been decrying President Trump’s decision to withdraw US troops in northern Syria to make way for a Turkish invasion, Israel stands to benefit significantly from the move.
Most pundits don’t seem to understand what’s really going on regarding the whole Trump/Kurd saga and most are too biased to applaud his strategy because they hate President Trump.
If Erdogan would have invaded Syria and killed US troops, they would have said that he dragged the US into an unnecessary war. The president is damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.
The balance of power in the Middle East right now favors Iran and Sunni states like Turkey have been offset by the Shiite expansion of Iran. To hobble Iran, Trump launched the most successful sanctions war in history. The sanctions have weakened Iran, thus weakening the Shiites.
However, there is still no one to fight on the ground to prevent the Shiites who continue invading Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, while at the same time, they also keep surrounding Israel with their proxies of Hamas and Hezbollah.
In light of this reality, President Erdogan of Turkey decided it was time to tell Trump that he has decided to is enter Syria as a Sunni power and that he was planning to send thousands of Sunni soldiers inside. Most of those troops he noted, would be Turkish backed Syrian Rebels.
This presented a great opportunity for President Trump. That’s because the decision to withdraw troops in Syria kills two birds with one stone.
On the one hand, Trump is evacuating the US troops, which was his campaign promise and on the other hand he’s injecting a Sunni force into Syria that will challenge (Syria’s Shiite affiliated leader) Assad along with the mullah’s of Iran.

Iran Holding Surprise Military Drills Near Turkish Border

Pressure Mounting on Iran
And since Syria is Iran’s client state, Iran is so concerned, they’ve been positioning themselves and holding
military drills along the Iranian -Turkish border. Now Iran finds itself, like the rest of the world, worrying itself over the next moves of Erdogan’s Sunni forces. They need to be worried. This Turkish (Sunni) invasion, with thousands, could become tens of thousands of well trained and well armed Sunni militias. This means that Iranian proxies like Hezbollah are going to have to refocus their efforts away from Israel’s border to fight Turkey’s Sunni forces in the North which is good for Israel.
Most of the Iranian satellite Shiite militias have received orders to abandon the southern front with Israel and move up north and build defenses against Turkey’s invasion.
In other words, Trump’s move, which led to Erdogan’s move, has revived the Syrian civil war which, in effect, is bringing a more balanced Sunni-Shiite struggle, for control of Syria and Iraq back into the region.
And as far as Israel is concerned, that’s a good thing!

Middle East Mayhem is nothing new!
The fast-deteriorating situation was set in motion last week, when President Trump ordered U.S. troops in northern Syria to step aside, clearing the way for an attack by Turkey, which regards the Kurds as terrorists.
Should we blame President Trump or is there a bigger perspective here?

Chaos in Syria: Paving the Way For a Turkish-Led Caliphate
The rumblings stirred by Turkey’s Operation Spring of Peace into Syria this week are triggering alarm bells with students of prophecy. Turkey is on the move… pay attention!
I’ve been warning for years to keep an eye on Turkey saying they will RISE AGAIN in the latter days as the head of the Ottoman Empire and that, out of that evil empire, will come Antichrist.
How significant is Turkey’s march into Syria? In terms of immediate geo-political significance, PROBABLY not all that much.
But in terms of prophetic significance, Turkey’s assault into Syria is one of the most important developments now happening on the end time stage!
For the first time in almost 100 years, the Turkish military is marching and conquering again. This is a watershed moment indicating that the wound to the seventh head of the beast has been healed (Rev. 13:3, 12, 14; 17:11).
In my view, Turkey’s coming-out assault into Syria is best viewed as the opening bell toward their eventual emergence as the head of the Islamic Caliphate.
There are many more rounds to come including a clash with Iran before these two Sunni-Shiite giants merge into the final Beast empire.
Since he became president, I’ve tried to point out the significant role President Trump has had in accelerating last day events!
It’s like he’s batting 1,000, which means the list is getting long.
Here he’s done it again. After standing in the way, the President calmly moved aside allowing Turkey to launch its maiden attack.
Just in case you forgot, or should I say, just in case the left leaning, fake news, has you convinced Trump is wrong, let me remind you four things the President preached he would do while running for office.
The president promised that he would:
1. Pull our troops home
2. Put America first
3. Defeat ISIS
4. And not remain afterward
These goals have now been achieved and the president is fulfilling his promises.

A Smart Decision
President Trump, faced with a horrible situation, is making a smart decision to not intervene in a war with Turkey. He’s committed to increasing sanctions on Turkey if they attempt genocide on the Syrian’s or Kurds.
And let’s not forget that he’s committed to Israel’s security, more than any modern president in history! Let me mention one final point that remains to develop. The President may wisely be green lighting Turkey’s entrance into Syria as his best option to push back on Iran. Turkey is the leader of the Sunni world and after the defeat of the Sunni-ISIS Caliphate, Shiite Iran flooded into Syria and Iraq. No one has been able to prevent Iran’s takeover of these countries.
Enter Turkey…
If Turkey believes this is their hour, they have the strength and military to severely cripple Iran’s incursion into these countries.
They also have the backing of the majority of Sunni nations in the region including nuclear powered Pakistan.
That, my friends, just might be the primary reason for allowing the Turks to invade Syria in the first place!

the topic of our upcoming class is the Rapture and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
To be prepared for the class, consider reading Revelation chapters 4-6 and Zechariah 6.
We continue our brief overview of the four horsemen with the third (Black) and fourth (Green) horses this week.
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse – Pt. 2
In Revelation 6 Jesus opens seven seals of judgment to begin the Tribulation period. The first four seals he opens are the four horsemen, and each one carries the wrath of God which is released from heaven to usher judgments on the earth.
The first two horsemen ride on white (Antichrist) and red (War) horses. Let’s see what the final two horses look like and discuss their meaning:
The Black Horse
So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.’ (Rev. 6:5-6)
Black is often connected with famine in the Bible. God will grant this horse the power to destroy the world’s economy and to diminish earth’s food resources. Both of these disasters are the byproducts of war.
A denarius was the standard daily wage for ancient laborers. In the early days of the Tribulation period, food will be in such short supply that people will have to work all day just to get enough food to eat.
The famine will play into Antichrist’s hands. Later in the Tribulation, he will require all the captured peoples, who fall under the control of the Caliphate, to wear the symbol of the Islamic empire (mark of the beast) in order to buy or sell. They will either submit to Allah or starve to death.
The Green Horse
“So I looked, and behold, a green horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.” (Rev. 6:8)
Death rides the green horse and Hades (hell) follows behind. Death doesn’t end life it simply opens the door to heaven or hell. In this case, one quarter of the earth is destined for hell after they die. That’s a stunning statistic. which may refer to the 25% of mankind under the control of Islam.
According to the CIA Fact Book, green is the color of Islam! This incredible prophecy may be telling us that Antichrist will steer the Caliphate to initially go after Muslim nations who refuse to recognize his rule over the Muslim world (25% of earth’s population).
Antichrist and the Caliphate will kill with “the sword, hunger, disease, and wild beasts—the four judgments the Lord said he would send in Ezekiel 14:21.
Death and Hades are mentioned together three times in Revelation, and the first time in Revelation 1:18 tells us that Christ holds the keys to Death and Hades.
Though the companions will wreak havoc during the Tribulation, Jesus holds the ultimate power and will throw them both into the lake of fire at His Second Coming.
