God’s prophetic word is falling into place. These are some of the geo-political areas to be watching.
Most of the “NEWS” that is bombarding the anxious people of earth lacks truth from a biblical perspective. Be careful what and who you listen to, guard your heart and don’t waste your strength and time on man-made false predictions from too much screen time.
The following are bullet points of the most recent developments:
ISRAEL
Israel continues to thrive under pressure both economically and strategically in spite (and probably because) of the pain and hardships of this extended season of war. Many hearts have grown tender under the hardships of the hour and are drawn closer to the Lord God of Israel.
The Arab Middle East on the other hand is sinking deeper and deeper into chaos, political disintegration, and economic disasters with no end in sight. Up to this point, international agreements among Israel’s enemies are proving meaningless as the only substantial keys for security and peace in the Middle East are military supremacy and economical viability.
IRAN
We have been watching the war events centered on Iran and its regime since February 28 for six months, waiting for escalation or an agreement.
The Strait of Hormuz was mostly closed from March 2 to August 23 or so, being about 175 days. The Strait is sporadically open, and often still under the control of the Iranian regime.
As of today, the Strait seems to be officially closed again and has now been closed for four (4) days. Marinetraffic.com still shows only a few ships going through the Strait at the moment.
As a result of President Trump’s military and economic pressure, Iran is falling apart internally with hyperinflation and acute shortages of food, water, and fuel. With weakening control mechanisms (money, force, and political favoritism) over the vast population, Tehran is losing control of the large ethnic minorities that make up more than half of Iran’s population.
It’s only a matter of time before these armed and independent minorities will revolt against the Mullahs and their private IRGC military machine. With depleting resources, Iran’s massive support for Hamas and Hezbollah is also dwindling. Pray for the persecuted church in Iran and that the Lord will raise up leaders to support the Body of Christ.
HAMAS
Hamas in Gaza is refusing to give up its arms in compliance with the international agreement it has signed, and rather continues to challenge Israeli forces on the new border fence. Every day terrorists are eliminated who are just itching to become “shahids,” martyrs for Allah. In spite of the West’s hopeful delusions, Hamas will not be transformed into a “peaceful political movement” and it’s difficult to think Gaza will ever be rebuilt into a new “Mediterranean Riviera.”
More likely, Gaza will remain in ruins as a memorial to the fate of those who rise up to destroy Israel. We pray for the miserable and oppressed Arabs who call Gaza their home and who’s entire life has been bound to the false hope of invading and possessing the Covenant Land of Israel for Allah.
HEZBOLLAH
Hezbollah in Lebanon is the same. It will never disarm on its own, and the weak Lebanese Army is unable and unwilling to disarm it. According to international agreement, as long as Hezbollah remains armed and poses danger to Israeli civilians, Israel is free to act decisively in Lebanon.
In fact, now that IDF forces are controlling all of Southern Lebanon to the Litani River and the Hermon Mountain Top, they are discovering that ALL of what used to be “Southern Lebanon” is interwoven with massive underground networks of terror tunnels.
Israel is dealing with a demonized people group, and IDF forces are daily eliminating Hezbollah terrorists that refuse to evacuate their positions, dismantling weapon caches and missiles that threaten Israeli communities, and blowing up miles of newly discovered terror tunnels. It’s unlikely Israel will ever give these territories back, no matter the international displeasure and complaints.
SAUDI ARABIA
Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Arab Oil Kingdoms on the Straits of Hormuz are in chaos, experiencing sharp economical declines and a leadership vacuum. Their corrupt regimes are unable to deal with the looming crisis, and their economies (which are entirely based upon oil and gas exports) are falling apart.
Qatar, the main exporter of radical Islam to the world’s universities and progressive elites, has cut down its “Foreign Budget” (used for bribes and buying influence) by nearly 80%! The gig is up; the gravy train is over; and the West may soon be able to make up its own troubled mind without being bought and manipulated by dirty Arab money.
MUSLIM INVASION
The Muslim invasion of illegals into European territory is expanding from day to day, yet the media is hiding most of these stories. Tens of thousands of (mostly) young Muslim men are being bussed, trucked, and sailed into Spanish territories daily, and the local authorities are helpless. By now not only the City of Ceuta serves as the key beachhead of this uncontrollable invasion, but speed boats loaded with Muslim Africans are freely landing on the shores of mainland Spain from Algiers with no one stopping them.
The progressive laws of the European Union are permitting this insanity as Red Cross workers and local naive volunteers meet these illegals with bags of food and bottles of water and process them into “transitional concentration camps.” From there, according to the EU laws, they will be able to move freely into any EU nation, sucking on local social benefits and harassing the native populations.
As laid out in Bible prophecy, we’re watching the Islamic siege of Europe. The battle for the destiny of the continent is raging. Europe is asleep and going under and with it goes the false notion of a ‘revived Roman empire.’
Bible prophecy calls for the revival of the Islamic empire in the last days. It’s happening now… don’t you see it? It’s gripping Europe by the throat and coming into America like a tidal wave. Wake up world. Wake up America! Wake up church! Islam is the greatest danger to the Church in the world today and will grow in power and impact to become God’s chief force for judgment during the 7-year Tribulation!
While the authorities hide the real numbers, recent surveys revealed that nearly 40% of the French population 18 years and younger are keeping the Ramadan Muslim holiday. Similar numbers are found in England and other European nations. When the young population is disproportionately Muslim at such insane levels, you know that, barring a movement of God or a constitutional revival, the demographic battle is over.
These nations, for all practical purposes, could be considered Euro-Muslim countries. The rest of the West should take notice before, as PM Benjamin Netanyahu says, “”the Islamic Republic of Britain” becomes a reality.
We pray for and with the Church in Europe, the USA, and other nations, as the battle for their destiny cannot be ignored or avoided any longer.
RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR
This demonic war is far from over, and a “stray” Russian missile recently exploded in Romanian territory. “Naughty Russians… shame on you. You’d better aim your missiles more accurately next time.”
Russia is currently trying to rebuild its army and weapon arsenal, and European sources are warning of upcoming pinpointed incursions into east European nations and aerial assaults to test NATO’s resolve. In fact, Moscow just issued a stern warning to England that it will come under Russian attack if Ukraine continues to use British weapons against Russian targets.
This war could spread and get worse before things get better.
The battle from the Israel hating nations and Israel’s right to live in the ‘Promised Land’ will continue to intensify until the Lord’s return. As the Scripture commands us,
“Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God. Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned;
For she has received from the LORD’s hand double for all her sins.”
(Isaiah 40).

The restrainer is holding back the flood, but not for much longer.
There is so much happening right now that it is almost impossible to keep up.
Israel, Iran, Gaza, Hamas, Lebanon, Hezbollah, Russia, Ukraine, NATO, Turkey rising, anti-Israel attacks, chemical explosions, disease outbreaks, oil disruptions, Board of Peace deals, war rumors, and global instability all hitting at the same time.
And people still want to act like everything is normal.
It’s not normal. Normal isn’t coming back. Jesus is!
The world is turning against Israel at an alarming pace, just as prophesied in Scripture in preparation for the rise of the Antichrist.
The nations are desperate for “peace and safety,” and that is exactly the atmosphere Paul warned about in 1 Thessalonians 5:3.
“When they shall say peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them.”
Daniel 9:27 is one of the most important verses in Bible prophecy. It indicates that Antichrist does not necessarily create the 7-year covenant, but it infers that he confirms or strengthens the covenant for one week [7-year Tribulation].
That means that when Antichrist gains control of the 10-King empire, he will step up to agree to terms already in place regarding Israel and the Palestinian State. He makes firm an agreement that has already being shaped and in put place.
The framework is being prepared now. Sometimes we can see it clearly, sometimes not.
After the Church is removed, Antichrist will step in and agree to the terms that we’re watching be put into place today, making it look like he has the answer.
But he is not the answer. He is the counterfeit.
The world is stuck right now because the restrainer is still here.
2 Thessalonians 2 tells us the “man of sin” [Antichrist] cannot be revealed until the “restrainer is taken out of the way.”
The “restrainer” in this context is the Holy Spirit working through the Church. Once everything is in place, the Church will be raptured, caught up, and the Holy Spirit’s restraining ministry will be removed to allow the rise of Antichrist and the world enters the seven-year Tribulation, also called the Day of the Lord.
And let’s be clear. The Day of the Lord is not the rapture. The rapture is our “gathering together to Him” in 2 Thessalonians 2:1.
Then Paul changes the subject in verse 2 to the Day of the Lord, which is the Tribulation period. The Church is removed before that day begins.
Revelation 6 shows Jesus opening the seals. That means that God’s wrath begins with the first seal, at the very beginning of the Tribulation, not halfway through the Tribulation. By the sixth seal, the world finally recognizes what has already been happening and cries out, “Hide us from the wrath of the Lamb.”
The Bride is not here for that. Halleluiah!
The Tribulation is not normal hardship. It is not just war, politics, or economic stress. It is supernatural judgment. Seals, trumpets, bowls, death, famine, pestilence, demonic torment, cosmic signs, and the wrath of God poured out on a Christ rejecting world.
That is why Jesus said to watch and pray to be accounted worthy to escape all these things and stand before the Son of Man. Luke 21:36.
The rapture is close. The signs are everywhere with the greatest sign being Israel.
God’s prophetic time-clock is Israel.
Prophecy teachers have been warning for years that America’s support of Israel will need to diminish by the start of the Tribulation. That’s because God wants Israel to face their enemies alone in the Tribulation.
The current cultural debate over Israel inside America being led by Tucker Carlson and others is another indication of eroding American support for Israel.
What’s behind this?
Satan has stirred America’s enemies to drive a wedge between America and Israel.
You may get the impression that America’s current, cultural-clash over Israel is all due to the anti-Israel rants of Tucker Carlson. Not so. He’s a third-tier pawn.
The enemy is behind it who is using America’s greatest enemies to weaken our support for Israel. And it’s working.
The broader Chinese-Russian-Iranian-Qatari propaganda narrative is this:
American global dominance must end.
They want a multipolar world where China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and others share power.
To get there, America’s alliance with Israel must be broken.
So they deceptively package anti-Israel narratives inside popular American causes and slogans:
“America First,” anti-corruption, anti-Epstein, anti-foreign influence, pro-Constitution, etc.
These become their Trojan horse inside American culture.
The goal is to convince Americans that Israel, one of America’s greatest allies, is actually its greatest enemy.
To do this they hire pawns to use recycled conspiracy theories and long debunked tropes put out by some of America’s most popular podcasters.
Do not be deceived. Do not fall for it. It’s a lie.
But it’s also a sign the end is near.
Don’t panic. Don’t fear.
Share the gospel. Put Bibles in people’s hands. Warn while there is still time.
Because once the Bride goes up, the world will never be the same!

The duty of a great President is not to follow public opinion, but to lead it. In moments of crisis, leaders are not called to read the polls — they are called to rise above them.
And that is exactly what President Trump has done to this point in the war with Iran. When asked about public polling — where most surveys show a majority opposing the war — Trump responded, “I don’t care about polling.”
We should commend the president for stepping into the role of a statesman who leads in the direction the nation needs to go, regardless of the political consequences.
The stock market, familiar territory for the president, has gone a bit wobbly. Gas prices have risen quickly, though they remain below the peak Americans experienced in the summer of 2022, when the average gallon approached $5. Some congressional Republicans are also expressing concern about the possible impact on the midterm elections.
These are big issues — in the short term. That is why most administrations confronting the Iranian nuclear threat sought to contain it, if they could not avoid it altogether.
To use a familiar phrase, “they simply kicked the can down the road” so the next administration — or the next generation — would deal with it.
Donald Trump concluded there was no road left.
Open sources suggest Iran possessed roughly 1,000 pounds of uranium enriched to 60% before the launch of Operation Epic Fury. Iran was racing to reach the 90% weapons-grade level — enough material for roughly 10 nuclear warheads. Enough to hold the world hostage, if not destroy large parts of it.
If there has been a justifiable war since World War II, this may be it. This is not defending oil-rich countries made wealthy by American dependence. This is confronting a direct threat to our security and to that of our natural ally, Israel.
When the leadership of a rogue regime repeatedly calls America the “Great Satan,” vows to destroy us, and sponsors repeated terrorist attacks against Americans — at what point should we believe them?
“We sought repeatedly to make a deal,” Trump stressed, adding that diplomatic efforts proved fruitless because the Iranian regime “just wanted to practice evil.”
But how do we know that the Iranian regime and its Supreme Leader were satanically motivated? Through God’s Word, we know that the Devil is the “father of lies” and a “murderer from the beginning” (John 8:44). Demonically driven individuals are often consumed with delusion. Scripture teaches that Satan has a relentless hatred for the Jews and Bible-believing Christians (Revelation 12, Genesis 3:15, Ephesians 6, etc.). All of these characteristics were unmistakably ingrained in the Ayatollah regime.
President Trump should be commended for taking the regime at its word and responding to keep America safe — not because it was politically popular, but because it was justified, militarily and morally.
Trump Bombshell:
Deal with Iran
to end the war is close!
Israel will be happy.
Strikes on energy sites postponed.
In a bombshell announcement, President Trump revealed Monday that his administration was engaged in productive talks with Iran regarding a “complete and total resolution” of the US-Israeli war with the Islamic Republic.
He later said the sides were close to an agreement under which Iran would agree not to seek nuclear weapons and would give up enrichment, and that the terms would make Israel “very happy.”
“I am pleased to report that the United States of America and the country of Iran have had, over the last two days, very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East,” Trump wrote in an all-caps Truth Social post.
“Based on the tenor and tone of these in depth, detailed and constructive conversations, which will continue throughout the week, I have instructed the Department of War to postpone any and all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five day period, subject to the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions,” he added.
Iran, Not Going Away
Iran is destabilizing the world with it’s genocidal eschatology.
It believes the destruction of Israel will hasten the arrival of their long-awaited messiah, the Mahdi. But discerning believers should see Iran’s messiah as the coming Antichrist.
Just know that Iran is not going away, nor is her evil intent.
She is included as a player in the Ezekiel 38-39 War which I’ll have more to say about in our upcoming class April 14.
Iran is also included in the last days, when looking carefully at the great image of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 2.
And in Revelation 13:2, we see the territory of the “Bear” mentioned which points to Iran. The passage shows Iran as part of the territory of Antichrist’s final empire.
She may be weakened and more nukes may be demolished, but she will rise from the ashes to invade Israel and to seize a spoil (Ezek. 38:10-13).
God will defeat Persia (Iran), Turkey, and other invaders on the mountains of Israel.
Also, remember that Israel must dwell “securely” (Ezek. 38:11) in the last days without bars or gates. Neutralizing Iran will help bring this about even though it is temporary.
The Biggest Story Keeps Growing!
Let me expound a bit on the biggest story of the last few years, and will be going forward.
We need to keep alert for more anti Semitism on the right, such as Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, Steve Bannon and more global Jew-hatred. This topic has grown legs across American churches dividing the wheat from the chaff.
Who knew that so few Christians these days would understand the biblical covenants and God’s eternal promises to Israel. Our pulpits have failed to preach the whole counsel of God.
Jews admit they feel safe almost nowhere. They are fleeing to Israel, which is hardly the safest place on earth! They are even fleeing New York under Mayor Zohran Mamdani, an anti Israel jihadist.
Almost half of young Republicans surveyed see Jews as a threat to the American way of life, having been influenced by the Tucker Carlson’s and Candace Owens’.
Among many on the left of all ages, the Jews and Israel are the root of all evil.
Welcome to the end times!
Watch Turkey
Turkey is micro-managing Syria, destroying the good guys in Syria, and readying for her major role in the Battle of Armageddon (Gog-Magog) at the end of the seven-year Tribulation.
President Erdogan is the most dangerous Middle East player and the most vocal opponent of Israel who is promoting and preparing his long planned return of the Islamic Caliphate.
At the end of the Iran war, we’ll see a new Middle East that will soon give rise to the revived Islamic Empire as a Muslim means of defense against Israel and the U.S.
President Erdogan is underestimated and should not be!
Once Iran is neutralized, Erdogan will finally be standing as the most prominent anti-Israel, Mid-East leader!
The Islamization of America
The rise of Islam in America is staggering.
It’s eroding our God-blessed Christian culture everywhere it goes faster than we can stop it.
While attending seminary, we lived for awhile in beautiful Minneapolis, now home to 100,000 Somalis thanks to Obama and looks more like the Mogadishu on the Mississippi. Dozens of mosques in downtown Minneapolis have replaced the Bible believing churches.
One of the highest ranking Muslims in the country, Keith Ellison (Democratic-Farmer-Labor) is the current Attorney General of Minnesota. He’s been in office since January 2019 and has aspirations for the Whitehouse.
A hardened Muslim is now Mayor of America’s largest city, Zohran Mamdani.
Islam is targeting Texas almost as their U.S. caliphate.
Cities like Dearborn, MI are re-named Dearbornistan.
This is serious! The mind of the true Islamist makes us all unsafe, including our churches that are a target.
Trump’s Board of Peace
In 2025 a stunning new development took place when President Trump announced his Board of Peace.
I have written about it along with President Trump’s 20-Point Gaza Peace Plan and taught about their significance and role they could play in Bible prophecy.
The Bible describes that in the last days the nations will be desperate to make peace in the Middle East. As a result, the international community will pressure Israel to divide their land and the city of Jerusalem for what we now know to be the State of Palestine.
Trump’s board of peace is in a unique position to set the stage for peace like nothing we’ve ever seen before. It has all the potential to fulfill the prophecies necessary to bring a peace deal to the Middle East before the start of the Tribulation.
And that is why I am paying close attention to Trump’s Board of Peace. As I’ve previously stated, the rise of the 10 kings, the Rapture of the Church and a final peace deal could all happen fast during the fast pace of this current Trump administration. Wouldn’t it be wonderful hear the Trumpet call today!
So keep looking up and keep a close eye on this in 2026.

Israel’s Last Hostage Returned
After 843 heart-breaking days, the October 7 hostage crisis is over. Ran Gvili has been laid to rest in Israel.
The IDF received information that led them to a cemetery. One by one, they exhumed and examined hundreds of bodies searching for the remains of the Israel’s beloved son. Then, the call rang out. Ran had been found. Battle-hardened soldiers broke into tears, while others danced and sang in a bittersweet chorus. After he was brought home, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated, “If we had not believed, we would not have found. But we believed and found.”
Now that Ran is home, Netanyahu is determined to ensure Hamas lives up to the truce agreement. The terrorists in Gaza must disarm and the whole region must be demilitarized. Anyone who understands anything about Hamas knows that they will never follow through with this commitment. They should, though, because now the only thing standing in the way of the prime minister utterly destroying what is left of the terrorist group is global public opinion. And we all know how much Netanyahu cares about that.
The US, Israel, and Iran
There is still a huge volume of bodies being counted in Iran. The estimates of protesters slaughtered by the Iranian government range from 30,000 to 80,000. Many were shot in the streets, others were killed in hospitals, and still more were unofficially executed in jails and prisons. By far this is the largest slaughter of a civilian population by its government in this century.
But the leftist marchers around the world seem to either be silent or just too busy protesting against Israel and ICE to worry about tens of thousands of dead Iranians who were risking their lives for their rights. Islam is off-limits when it comes to criticism. Muslims can be victims, but you better not call them perpetrators.
President Donald Trump has said that help is on the way for the protesters. This has led to both bluster and action from the United States, Israel, and Iran. Iran has responded, “If our country is cornered, it will respond in a way it never has before.”
Knowing that the ayatollah’s threats were directed at Israel as well as America, Prime Minister Netanyahu promised, “Any attempt by Iran to harm us will be met with a decisive response. It will be a big mistake, a very big mistake, one mistake too many.” Other nations have joined the verbal fray. Some, like Germany, warning Iran, while others, like Turkey, warning the US.
As the words fly from one continent to the other, so do American arms. There has been a massive buildup of US power in the Middle East. Headed by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, the sea and air power in the region is enough to level Iran many times over. Some reports are that Trump will institute a naval blockade of the Islamic regime.
In response, Iran has deployed their air-defense systems in three key areas. They have readied their thousands-strong arsenal of short-range Fateh-110 missiles and mid-range Qadr missiles. In addition, they have readied swarms of suicide drones along with coastal and cruise missiles. These assets can be used with deadly consequences against US bases in the surrounding nations and waters.
President Trump has said that he is ready to make a deal with Iran, the implication being that this will take place only if ayatollahs play by his rules. These rules are simple: first, abandon the military nuclear program; second, reduce dramatically the ballistic missile production capabilities; and third, completely halt the terror financing of proxy militias. This is likely a deal that the ayatollahs cannot and will not accept. In fact, the latest reports state that the regime has already rejected any stipulation that demands they stop their military nuclear program. What will President Trump’s next move be?
Israel, Iran, and Bible Prophecy
Reports are that the Iranian regime is at its most vulnerable since the overthrow of the shah in 1979. For those followers of biblical prophecy who worry about what a regime change might mean for God’s plan, particularly with regards to Ezekiel 38 and 39, let me set your minds at ease.
While some hold the theological viewpoint that the Church is now God’s chosen people, I disagree. I believe the Jewish people remain His chosen people, and that they play a key role in end times prophecy. I believe the Bible clearly foretold that Israel would be scattered and regathered—fulfilled on May 14, 1948, and that’s when the prophetic time clock began to tick. It was not just a sign, but a super sign.
Scripture also predicts that in the last days, a great coalition from the north—including Persia (modern-day Iran)—will rise up against Israel (Ezekiel 38–39). While the Middle East conflicts we’ve seen are not the full fulfillment of that prophecy, it is certainly a foreshadowing.
The Bible has more to say. Not only will the Jews be regathered together in their homeland, but they will be increasingly isolated. That’s happening.
The Bible also predicted the rise of anti-Semitism in the end times. That is happening.
The Bible also predicts a leader named Gog will come down with his armies from Magog, a large nation to the north of Israel. This amazing prophecy is simply an Old Testament description of the Battle of Armageddon. Gog in Scripture is identified as Antichrist and in Ezekiel, Magog is a reference to modern-day Turkey. We should pay attention to both Turkey and Iran, who will be allies in the final coalition against Israel.
Turkey Eyes Jerusalem
Speaking of the Ezekiel War coalition, the pieces just seem to keep falling into place. For over 500 years, the Ottoman Empire led the Islamic Caliphate, of which Jerusalem was a part. But then the Ottoman Empire ended in WWI, and with it any hold Turkey had on the holy city.
When Turkey ruled the Ottoman Empire, they were the leaders of Sunni Islam and today they want that status back. Unfortunately, they aren’t Arab. Islam began as an Arab religion, and Arab Muslims are considered superior in the Muslim order. For Turkey to take the lead in Islam again, there may need to be some kind of Arab connection.
This is what makes it especially interesting that Bilal Erdoğan, son and possible successor of the president, assured viewers in an interview this past week that his mother is Arab and that his maternal grandparents regularly spoke Arabic to one another. In another story, a far-right Turkish politician encouraged President Erdoğan to seriously consider taking military action against Israel with the goal of ultimately taking back Jerusalem. Once again, it all fits back into the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecy.
Israel’s Economic Surge
Israel’s economy is booming because God is blessing Israel. The rise in the stock market has surpassed even that of the United States, and the shekel has strengthened against the dollar. Israel’s Leviathan gas fields off the Mediterranean coast have more energy in them than they know what to do with, and their technology sector is the envy of the world. This soaring economy, along with the shocking rise in global antisemitism, has led to a surge of Jews making Aliyah back to Israel in fulfillment of Ezekiel 36-37.
What Happens Next?
What is taking place in the Middle East is cause for us to sit up and pay attention.
Let me give you just a quick flyover of end times events chronologically. Number one, I think the next event on the prophetic calendar is the Rapture of the Church. After the Rapture, Antichrist emerges on the scene and the 7-year Tribulation period begins. The Tribulation ends with the Second Coming of Christ, and then the Lord establishes the Millennium (the 1,000-year reign of Christ).
This should not make us fearful. Bible prophecy is not given to scare us, but prepare us.

Israel, Lion of Judah Awakens
Between their high-tech war over seven different enemies we are witnessing Bible prophecy being fulfilled as never before. In the process, we are seeing a new era being shaped from Jerusalem.
From the abyss of October 7, a nation has risen that has understood that its survival can no longer be secured by managing the status quo, but only through the radical reshaping of its entire neighborhood. In God’s sovereign plan, He has allowed the the events of Oct 7 in Gaza in order to close the gap on the looming Tribulation period. I’ll have much more on this at our upcoming class on Feb. 17.
From the dismantling of the terror hubs in the Gaza Strip, Judea and Samaria and Lebanon, to the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, and its bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities, Israel has broken the strategic backbone of the Islamic Republic and paved the way for the historic upheaval we’re seeing playing out now in Iran. The potential collapse of the mullah regime in Tehran, accompanied by nationwide protests and the public smashing of symbols of decades-long tyranny, is no accident but the result of an unprecedented Israeli and US exertion of force.
Israel is no longer just a besieged small state, but a strategic military powerhouse in a new Middle East. Israel’s conduct over the past two years marks the transition from a defensive fortress mentality to a proactive, world-shaping dominance.
Prophetically what we’re witnessing signals the imminency of the Rapture, the Tribulation and the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ. It’s time to put your spiritual house in order and to stand up and pray for Israel!
The Downfall of a Dictator
Deep in the night of January 2, Chinook helicopters crossed the skies of Caracas, Venezuela. America’s Operation Absolute Resolve had begun, and by the time it concluded President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, landed safely in New York. It was a perfectly planned and carried out surprise military action that took place in the capital city of a hostile nation.
During the action, Joint Chiefs Gen Dan Caine revealed over 150 US aircraft were used and close to 60 Venezuelan military and security personnel were killed, while seven US soldiers were injured. According to Attorney General Pam Bondi, Maduro and his wife will now face charges in the Southern District of New York, including conspiracy to engage in drug-terror activities, conspiracy to import cocaine, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices against the United States.
Not surprisingly, all the usual suspects lost their minds over this decisive action by President Trump. Russia, Turkey, Colombia, Qatar, Iran, Panama, Cuba, and other UN states and anti-western countries condemned the extraction. Hamas and Hezbollah threw in their two cents against, as did all the angry liberals in the US and beyond who hate everything that Trump does. Anti-imperialist protests sprang up immediately around America, all part of a coordinated plan of attack by the radical left that began even while the extraction was still taking place.
On the flip side, Venezuelans in Venezuela and many other nations are dancing in the streets, praising the United States for freeing the citizenry from the crushing thumb of Maduro. Another place we can see celebration is in the US stock market which hit an all-time high on Monday.
This action by the United States has truly changed the global picture. On Tuesday, President Trump issued an ultimatum to Venezuela to abandon its alliances with China, Russia, Iran, and Cuba, and place its oil industry under an exclusive partnership with Washington. US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz emphasized this split with America’s enemies, saying to the United Nations, “You cannot continue to hold the world’s largest energy reserves under the control of US adversaries.” The US Department of State added on X, “This is OUR Hemisphere, and President Trump will not allow our security to be threatened.” This is all part of the Trump Doctrine of the Western Hemisphere and the Middle East.
Sooner or later, you knew that Israel would be blamed for the attack. It came out in just two days. Delcy Rodriguez, the acting president of Venezuela, who had been vice president when Maduro was taken, claimed that the US operation was actually a “Zionist attack” orchestrated by Israel. Candace Owens, along with other antisemitic loons, also put Israel in a direct influencing rule for the extraction of Maduro.
“Death to the Dictator”
The protests in Iran that began two weeks ago are only growing. In more than 200 locations around the country, people have taken to the streets chanting “Death to the Dictator!” Buildings have been burned, pictures of the ayatollahs have been desecrated, and government structures have been mobbed. The military is fighting back with live fire, thus far killing at least 45 citizens and arresting more than 2000 more, according to human rights groups. The people are fed up with the Islamist regime caring more about arming their proxies than providing food, water, and energy to their population. On Tuesday, the Iranian rial reached a new low of 1,470,000 to one US dollar on the open market with no signs of potential turn-around.
The country’s leaders are trying to distract the people by attempting to focus on a common enemy. For days now, Iran has threatened a preemptive strike against Israel. But for many in Iran, they find a greater affinity with those in Jerusalem than with those in the government buildings in Tehran. For Israel’s part, Netanyahu has warned, “If we are attacked, the implications for Iran will be very dire.”
Meanwhile, dozens of US Air Force refueling tankers and heavy military transport aircraft have departed to the Middle East, with numerous sources saying it is in preparation for strikes against Iran. Other countries see the threat, and Canada, Russia, and Australia have each asked their citizens to leave Iran immediately. The ayatollahs certainly understand their predicament and have deployed air surveillance radar systems in Tehran and several other cities in case either the US or Israel comes calling. There are also rumors that Ayatollah Khamenei has a contingency plan to flee to Moscow if either the protests grow or another major attack comes. There are also rumors and indications of Russian planes landing in Tehran to extract large amounts of Iranian gold to take out of the country and to store in Russia. These rumors are bolstered by a claim by British MP Tom Tugendhat that there were reports of Russian cargo aircraft landing in Tehran and “large amounts of gold leaving Iran.”
Israel Targets Hezbollah in Lebanon
Throughout the last week, Israel continued to hit Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The Lebanese government is scrambling to show that they are attempting to disarm the terrorist group, even releasing footage of the military neutralizing a Hezbollah underground weapons facility. But their overall effort has not been effective, and sources say that Israel is not interested in waiting for Lebanon to transition to the second phase of the agreed-to weapons-consolidation plan which would focus on areas north of the Litani River.
Peace Stalled in Gaza
Hamas may say it’s ready to move on to stage two of Trump’s plan, but there are still two major hurdles which must be overcome. First, the terrorist group must disarm, something they are unwilling to do. Second, Israel demands the remains of the final hostage, St.-Sgt.-Maj. Ran Gvili, before it will open the Rafah Crossing. Until these two issues are resolved, the process will remain stalemated.
The US takes Two Russian-Flagged Oil Tankers
A cat-and-mouse game has been taking place for two weeks between the US military and two Russian “shadow” tankers that broke through the American blockade of Venezuela. Eventually, the Motor Tanker Bella I and the Motor Tanker Sophia were located and boarded by US forces – one in the North Atlantic Ocean and one in international waters in the Caribbean.
While the pursuit was taking place, Russia dispatched a submarine and a ship to assist the tankers, but they didn’t arrive in time. Both tankers have been seized. US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said, “The world’s criminals are on notice. You can run, but you can’t hide. We will never relent in our mission to protect the American people and disrupt the funding of narcoterrorism wherever we find it, period. This is our country’s greatest fighting force at their best. This is America first at sea.”
Greenland, USA
It is the intention of the Trump administration to purchase Greenland, according to a statement made by Secretary of State Marco Rubio to certain US lawmakers. The purpose of the acquisition is security, particularly with rising threats coming from Russia and China. European leaders warned against a military takeover of the country, saying that it could amount to an end of NATO.
If the European leaders were smart they would loudly support and encourage President Trump to take over Greenland in order to help make America even stronger. The United States helped defeat Europe’s enemies in World War One and again in World War Two. Europe is now so weak that without America, Putin would already have invaded. Unfortunately, their blindness brought on by the Islamic invasion of Europe seems to be taking over almost all of Europe.
While the White House didn’t rule out a military option, they did assert that it would not be their preferred option. Rubio will be meeting next week with key international players in the discussion.
Tim Walz Drops from Minnesota Governor Race
Amidst a rampant scandal involving Somalis, day cares, billions of federal funds, and, some say, his own office, incumbent Tim Walz has withdrawn from the 2026 governor race. “Every minute that I spend defending my own political interest would be a minute I can’t spend defending the people of Minnesota against the criminals who prey on our generosity and the cynics who want to prey on our differences,” Walz said, attempting to firmly plant himself on the moral high ground. Critics, however, say that he is running scared, claiming that even more allegations are coming against him. This once beautiful state is not what it used to be, and this is going to be a very difficult year for Minnesotans. Despite Walz stepping out of the race, I can at least take solace in the fact that Amy Klobuchar is waiting in the wings. Yikes! Like I said, it’s going to be a very difficult year.
Deadly ICE Incident in Minnesota
Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old activist, tried to use her car to block ICE vehicles in Minneapolis. The situation escalated, and Good drove directly at an ICE agent, hitting him. The agent fired his weapon in self-defense, killing Good. Immediately, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey called it an act of murder. Governor Tim Walz, seeing his opportunity to get the spotlight off his own scandal, urged Americans everywhere to take to the streets, saying, “If you’re in Portland, or you’re in LA, or you’re in Chicago, or you’re wherever they’re coming next, stand with us. Stand with us against this.”
These are words that get law enforcement officers killed, and the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association quickly responded by condemning this kind of “irresponsible” and “reckless” rhetoric. Federal government officials also quickly came out against the inflammatory verbal attacks by Frey, Walz, and other leftist firebrands like Rep. Alexandria Occasio-Cortez. It appears that Walz is doing his best to find a way to draw attention away from the appalling fraud in Minnesota. Protests and riots against the shooting broke out in several cities across the country. This is a story that has legs, and we may be talking about how it plays out for weeks to come.

From the beginning, when we started Focus On The End Times ten years ago, we stated our support for Israel and that Scripture posits that the nation of Israel is the central catalyst in God’s timeline for the last days.
We know that is so because ‘national Israel’ is an eternal promise in Scripture running all the way through the Millennial Kingdom and onto the gates of New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:12-13), for all of eternity!
Here’s is a simple definition of ‘Zionism:’
“The belief in the return of the Jewish people to the Holy Land and the establishment of the state of Israel as a fulfillment of biblical prophecy.”
That simple concept has erupted into an American firestorm. That’s because the hour is getting late and the enemy is ramping up hatred for Israel on every hand.
Tucker Carlson recently platformed known antisemite Nick Fuentes on his podcast—where the former Fox News host seemed eager to match, if not outdo, his guest’s extreme rhetoric toward Israel and the Jewish people.
Carlson took aim at Christian Zionists—Bible believing Christians like myself—mocking our literal interpretation of Scripture as a “brain virus”: “How do you explain Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz … who I have seen be seized by this brain virus, and they’re not Jewish. Most of them are self-described Christians. And they’re Christian Zionists.”
He went as far as to say, “I dislike them more than anybody … because it’s Christian heresy and I’m offended by that as a Christian.” Well, I suppose Carlson would loathe my existence.
I’m a Christian Zionist—and I refuse to be shamed or miscast by the notion that supporting the Jewish people and the State of Israel is some kind of virus.
Carlson’s phrase, “brain virus,” was meant to ridicule Christians who believe the Jewish people have a biblical right to self-determination in their ancestral homeland. But his rhetoric exposes something older and far darker—the belief that the Jewish people themselves are the problem.
Their words recycle ancient tropes: Jews as nefarious power brokers, Jews as global puppet masters, Israel as the “occupier.” What they spread isn’t a thoughtful critique—it’s the virus of suspicion, hate, and scapegoating that has harmed the Jewish people for centuries.
If you don’t believe me, just read the myriad of antisemitic YouTube comments on their discussion; they mimic the hatred the Jewish people endured in the late 19th and early 20th century.
At one point, Carlson asked Fuentes what conservatives stand in the way of winning back the country. Fuentes replied, “…the Zionist Jews, like Dave Rubin, like Ben Shapiro, like Dennis Prager. It was the guys that were really controlling the media apparatus that seemed to me to be the biggest impediment.”
That’s not analysis—it’s antisemitism.
He’s throwing conservative Jewish commentators under the bus for their belief that Israel remains a vital ally to American interests.
In contrast, Christian Zionism says something radically different: The Jewish people are not the problem. God is not finished with Israel—not with the land, not with the people, not with the promise. To stand with Israel is not heresy; it is biblical fidelity.
When God called Abraham, He gave him an unconditional covenant that promised a land (Israel), a people (the Jewish people), and a multifaceted blessing to make Abraham a great nation and to protect that nation throughout history that they might fulfill their divine calling to bless all the families of the earth.
That covenant doesn’t remain trapped in the verses of Genesis—it binds the entire story of Scripture together. The Psalms proclaim it (Ps. 105:7-10; Prophets proclaim it; the Apostles affirm it.
This continuity of covenant undergirds Christian support for Israel today. God’s redemptive plan was never revoked — it was expanded. The church has been grafted into the covenant, not as a replacement for Israel, but as partakers in God’s unfolding promise. Paul warns Gentile believers in Romans 11:18, “Do not boast against the branches… remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.”
Paul’s warning could not be clearer: Do not be arrogant toward Israel. And yet Carlson, Fuentes, and those who echo their views do exactly that.
Ironically, in calling Christian Zionism “heresy,” they embrace the unbiblical doctrine known as Replacement Theology of Super-sessionism—the false idea that the Church has replaced Israel, that God’s promises to the Jewish people have expired.
Fuentes, promoting Super-sessionism, cited Thomas Aquinas, the 13th-century Catholic philosopher, to claim that Jewish people are a “witnessed people” who have special legal protections but no ongoing spiritual role. Then he doubled down: “The neoconservatives and Israel have everything to do with Jewish identity… the blood and soil nationalism of Israel… stems from this ethno-religion, which is Judaism.”
If only they would open their Bibles. They would see that Jesus and all His apostles believed in a coming restoration of Israel’s kingdom, just as God had promised “through His holy prophets” (Acts 3:17–21).
Their brand of Replacement Theology runs headlong into Paul’s reminder that even in unbelief, Israel remains beloved “for the sake of the patriarchs,” because “the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable” (Romans 11:29). God’s covenant with Abraham—land, people, blessing—cannot be undone.
Carlson and Fuentes paint Christian Zionists as naïve or deceived—blindly serving the Israeli agenda. But Paul defines the heart of the Christian Zionist who calls Gentile believers to humility, not hubris: “Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Be not high-minded, but fear.” (Romans 11:20)
That’s the posture to have as a Christian Zionist: Humble gratitude, not arrogance. Reverence for God and His Word, not bondage to any political agenda.
Their line—”Christian Zionism is Christian heresy”—reveals that politics has become their religion. They promote not the transforming work of Christ in individual hearts but a cultural crusade—a collective Christian identity defined by power, blame, and control. In that movement, Israel becomes a target, and Christian Zionists are the pawns.
As for the ministry of FOTET, we will continue to speak up for the Jewish people, to pray for Israel, and to affirm the land God has promised. I will oppose the targeting of Jewish people, I will reject the lie that a Jewish conspiracy is what’s wrong with the world, and I will encourage believers to see that the Jewish people are not the obstacle to redemption—they are a key part of God’s redemptive plan.
I will live as a wild branch grafted in by grace—grateful, humbled, and standing in solidarity with the root, not boasting against it and blaming it for the woes of party affiliation.
So to Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes, I would simply say: read your Bible and stop butchering it for your self-centered agenda.
It’s a Jewish book—yes, even the New Testament. There you’ll find that Jesus is the Messiah of Israel, who came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel to establish the New Covenant, promised to Israel in Jeremiah 31:31, a blessing for the world. You’ll see that Paul, a faithful Jewish man himself, affirmed that God’s covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob still stands.
God’s love for the Jewish people is not a political issue—it’s a biblical truth.
“Boast not against the branches. But if you boast, remember you do not support the root, the root supports you.” (Romans 11:18)
