The Nations Are Seeking To ‘Impose’ A Peace Covenant Between Israel And Her Neighbors

Last weekend, when Iran unleashed its barrage of 350 drones and missiles against the Jewish State, maybe the most surprising aspect was that Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) supported Israel.

Let that sink in for a moment. All these nations are opposed to what Israel is doing in Gaza. They’re not friendly with Israel in every respect. However, these three nations supported Israel against an aggressive attack from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Even Jordan took part in shooting down Iranian missiles. You could say, “These missiles were over their airspace. They would obviously shoot them down.” Well, years ago, they would have been glad to have any missiles flying over their airspace knowing the target was Israel.

Other Arab nations, like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, provided valuable Intelligence to Israel about the timing of the attack. According to reports, Iran tipped off Saudi Arabia as to what it was doing and when it would do it. Saudi Arabia then secretly passed that information along to Israel to give them a heads-up for the timing of this attack—something that would have been unthinkable even just a few years ago.

What we’re witnessing today is more and more willing peace partners for Israel among these Arab neighbors. That is something that we have not seen since 1948, and it is a necessary precondition for the beginning of the Tribulation, where Antichrist will forge a peace agreement with Israel.

Daniel 9:27 says,
“he [Antichrist] will confirm [compel] a covenant with many for one ‘seven’ [seven years]. In the middle of the ‘seven’ [years] he will put an end to sacrifice and offering.”

The event that starts the seven-year Tribulation is this peace treaty that Antichrist makes and forges with Israel and its neighbors.

Revelation 6 tells us that the Tribulation begins when the rider on a white horse [Antichrist] rides forth after his diplomatic victory. After this, in Revelation 19, we have Jesus coming back to Earth on a white horse in victory. Revelation 6 is the beginning of the Tribulation when Antichrist rides forth on his white horse, “conquering and to conquer.”

It describes him as having a bow with no arrows indicating the start of his conquest is diplomatic—it’s a bloodless conquest—and he is going to make this peace agreement with Israel and her neighbors. That peace agreement is the precondition for the Tribulation period.

An ‘Imposed’ Peace

This week, Time magazine published an article titled “A Million Dollar Middle East Peace Plan.” It lays out a scenario for peace between Israel and its Middle East enemies that is chillingly similar to what the Bible predicts.

The author, Kai Bird, says, “This conflict is so dangerous that the time has come for the international community to impose a solution.” A compelled solution to the nations? That is precisely what Daniel 9:27 says, “He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’”

Some take the idea of “confirming” to mean that he will simply strengthen an already existing covenant. But the idea of “confirming,” in Hebrew, means to “make strong.” He is going to make strong a covenant—or even “compel” a covenant.

The Time Magazine article insists that “the international community” needs to “impose a solution.” According to the author, they must “convene a Geneva peace conference” where all the essential parties will be forced to participate and “face financial and legal sanctions if they fail to show up.”

“A conversation will take place in which all parties are heard,” the author described. “But the American, European, and other international diplomats invited to Geneva will be responsible for the actual drafting of a peace treaty.”

So, nations other than Israel and their enemies will develop the peace treaty draft. It will be brokered by outside forces, which is also what Daniel 9:27 predicts.

The author concludes, “This will be an imposed peace because the global stakes are too high.”

The plan is to “impose peace” between Israel and the so-called Palestinians. That’s what the Bible predicts. It will be an imposed, compelled, or “take it or leave it” covenant that will be negotiated among the international community to force Israel to divide their land and give it to the Palestinians for whom it doesn’t belong.

A Flashing Red Light

The current crisis between Israel and Hamas, as well as Israel and Iran, is setting the stage for the coming Middle East peace.

All the ingredients for this Middle East peace are coalescing. We see a coalition of willing partners now for Israel. We see people calling for peace to be imposed by outside forces.

All the key threads are being woven together right before our eyes.

A possible escalating cycle of attacks will only serve to further prepare for Antichrist’s arrival and the coming time of Tribulation. What is happening right now is a flashing red light that the coming of Jesus Christ could be very soon.

Sign of Bible Prophecy?

Prophecy Students!

Please Be Aware!!!

The media and prophecy websites are ablaze today and pontificating about the hidden meanings of today’s ellipse.

In the eyes of some Christians, the solar eclipse is some kind of end time sign. But that’s simply NOT what the Bible says!

The various blood moons and eclipses that have shown up over the last few years are not the astrological signs that are in the prophecies of the Bible.

All of the signs in the sun, moon and stars, etc. that appear in the prophetic passages of Scripture relate to the final seven year Tribulation Period and are signs for broadcasting Christ’s Second Coming (not the Rapture).

Such phenomena are a common feature of the Day of the Lord, the Tribulation Period, as can be seen in the following passages: Isaiah 13:9-10; Ezekiel 32:7-8; Joel 2:10 31; 3:15; Amos 8:9, and in Christ’s Olivet Discourse prophecy in the gospels:

Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Matthew 24:29

None of the dramatic heavenly phenomena like today’s eclipse, that everyone is talking about, are legitimate prophetic signs relating to the church age. Search as you will but you won’t find any heavenly signs relating to America at the end of the church age!

And there are no signs for the Rapture that need to be fulfilled.

So for the most part, everyone is simply guessing about what the deeper meaning is but there isn’t any Scripture to let us know. Don’t forget to wear your sunglasses to enjoy God’s majestic creation!

Saudi-Israel Agreement: Precursor To Antichrist’s Covenant With Israel?

And he, [Antichrist] shall confirm the covenant with many for one week [seven years] and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate…”
Daniel 9:27

One of the key events of the end-times is a coming peace treaty between Israel and her neighbors which, according to this verse, will be brokered by Antichrist.

Antichrist is going to make a covenant or treaty many nations along with the Palestinians and Israel for a seven-year period of time.

In the middle of that seven years [3.5 years], he will invade Israel [Zech. 14:1-3] and put an end to sacrifices and offerings by capturing Israel’s newly rebuilt temple and killing God’s special Two-Witnesses [Rev. 11].

Confirm A Covenant

The first part of the above
passage tells us that he will “confirm” a covenant with Israel for seven years. Bible translations differ, saying he will “make a covenant,” “compel a covenant,” or “make a strong covenant.” Some take it as a covenant that already exists, while others suggest Antichrist will compel this covenant, bringing the parties to the table and giving them a take-it-or-leave-it deal.

Whatever the exact meaning, there’s one thing that’s clear: Antichrist is going to forge a sweeping peace agreement between Israel and her neighbors that’s going to have to do with the Temple Mount area and allowing Israel to renew their sacrificial system. The signing of this covenant will mark the start of the seven-year Tribulation.

Is Peace Possible

Recent events strikingly foreshadow this coming peace compact. August 13th was the third anniversary of the announcement of the Abraham Accords, which were ratified the following month. These arrangements heralded a new beginning of peace in the Middle East as several Arab nations agreed to normalize relations with Israel.

The previous five American presidents tried everything they could with Palestinian leaders and failed. Finally, that streak was broken by President Trump with the Abraham Accords, which resulted in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan all signing peace treaties and normalized relations with Israel. That added to Israel’s peace treaty with Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994, bringing the current total to six neighboring nations.

But the biggest prize of the Middle East is clearly Saudi Arabia. Prime Minister Netanyahu has called the normalization of relations with Saudi Arabia one of the primary reasons he sought to return to power in Israel.

Last week, a top Israeli diplomat said that a normalization agreement would be “a historic opportunity for a peace process that will change the face of the Middle East and the whole world.” That’s a dramatic statement in light of Bible prophecy.

Headlines

A lot of headlines about this are very striking to me:

Times of Israel — “Foreign Minister Cohen to Arabic outlet: Israel will make gestures to Palestinians for Saudi deal.” Israel is willing to make some concessions to the Palestinians to make this deal happen.

Times of Israel — “Any deal must be done before Biden leaves office, Israel reportedly tells Saudis.” They believe this is going to have to happen before President Biden leaves office, which obviously, doesn’t give a lot of time.

Times of Israel — “Leading Saudi columnist says it’s ‘highly likely’ peace with Israel is possible.”

Wall Street Journal —  “Saudis Agree with U.S. on Path to Normalize Kingdom’s Ties With Israel” subtitle, “Officials are negotiating details of agreement they hope to cement within nine-to-12 months, though obstacles remain.”

Before March 2024

Some say the US wants to wrap all of this up by next March.
You can imagine the political reasons. This would be a huge feather in the cap for President Biden during his run for reelection to be able to be in the middle of this deal or take credit for it.

Of course the major obstacle, as always, is the Palestinian question. What’s going to happen with the Palestinians? What’s Israel going to have to give up? What’s Saudi Arabia going to demand to have normalized relations?

Jordan Move Aside

Last Saturday, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Jordan presented his credentials to begin serving as Saudi Arabia’s first-ever non-resident ambassador to the State of Palestine.

This unprecedented power move is a signal to Jordan that Saudi Arabia, who now controls Islam’s two holiest sites of Mecca and Medina, feels it’s time they take control of Islam’s third most holy site also which is the al-Aqsa
Mosque on the Temple Mount.

Peace With the Palestinians

In addition to signaling that the Saudi’s want control of the Temple Mount to Jordan, Saudi Arabia also appointed its first envoy to the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank.

This is the second bombshell, a move seen as a signal to Israel and the United States that if Saudi Arabia and Israel are to normalize relations it will take a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians to get it accomplished. Therefore, Saudi Arabia has now taken the lead to establish a legal channel in helping negotiate peace between the Palestinian’s and Israel.

Saudi Arabia, Head of Islam

Keep in mind that Saudi Arabia is the head of Islam and the highest Muslim authority on earth and the caretaker of the Quran and the Islamic holy sites. It’s also fair to say the Quran is not kind to the Jewish people… that’s an understatement. So the very notion of Saudi Arabia making peace with Israel is stunning in itself. But add to that, these two announcements and we can begin to see a path for how Israel would be allowed to build their temple on the Temple Mount. If Israel and Saudi Arabia establish formal and friendly relations and Saudi Arabia controls the Temple Mount, then for the first time a mutual negotiation can be made for Israel’s Temple to share the Temple Mount with the Muslim holy sites.

Sharing the Temple Mount

A sharing relationship for Israel’s temple on the Temple Mount is exactly what the Apostle John suggests will happen in Revelation 11:1-2. John describes Israel’s new temple site as not having enough room for the outer courts causing them to share it with the Gentiles [pagans].

The fact that Saudi Arabia has placed an envoy in the Palestinian Authority and has signaled to Jordan they want control of the Temple Mount opens the door to a peace agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia and a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians and provides a way for Israel to build their Temple on the Temple Mount.

There are a lot of moving parts to this agreement. The US additionally wants Saudi Arabia to roll back some of its growing ties with China, which of course, would help the United States.

This peace process may be complicated and fraught with difficulties, but the fact that it is even being discussed is astounding. Who would have believed a few years ago that the head of Islam would want peace with the Jewish State? This was never even a possibility! But now here we are, with this prophetic scenario lining up.

Next Event, the Rapture

The next event on God’s prophetic calendar is the rapture of the church. Sometime after the rapture, and after the emergence of the ten-king empire, Antichrist is going to catapult onto the world scene, and his major breakthrough will be to broker this comprehensive peace deal for Israel that allows the Jews to rebuild the temple and begin offering sacrifices. That path is now getting much closer which means the Tribulation is getting closer!

The rapture will move the final pieces into place. Antichrist will rise into the chaos and aftermath of the rapture to bring this Middle East peace deal. We are witnessing the setup for that coming treaty right before our eyes.

I don’t know about you, but I consider it a great privilege to live in these times. It’s incredible to see the things that are prophesied so clearly in the Bible. My prayer for myself and all of us is that we will live faithfully in light of our Lord’s imminent return!

The Great Earthquake of 2023 and the Sudden Surge of Prophetic Signs

Watching the aftermathof the major earthquake in Turkey and Syria and their many aftershocks has been gut-wrenching. This massive natural disaster has been eye-opening for the church in terms of where we now stand in the last days.

As most are now well aware, a devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck south-central Turkey near the border with Syria on Sunday, February 5th. It was the single most powerful quake in the Middle East since 1939.

At a little past 1:00 AM on Monday morning, the ground began shaking in southern and central Turkey and western Syria. Because of its shallowness, the 7.8 quake devastated the region. Nine hours later, a second quake struck, this one 7.6, with an epicenter less than 100 miles away from the first. The damage has been catastrophic.

More than 35,000 are confirmed dead with another 45,000 missing. Many of these are buried in the rubble of 8500 collapsed buildings, which will undoubtedly double and possibly triple the current death toll. Those without a roof over their heads number greater than 400,000, a number which is even more tragic considering the snow and below freezing temperatures in much of the affected area.

The earthquake has reminded the church that we are squarely in the “birth pangs” that Jesus spoke of to His disciples in Matthew 24. In the last three years, we have had a global pandemic that has killed nearly seven million people, a world war that has killed 100’s of thousands and now a massive earthquake that has killed over 35,000. What is coming next?

The earthquake shook all of Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, and Cyprus, most of Israel and Jordan, and parts of Armenia, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. Most of the regions mentioned in the Bible were shaken. The earthquake was so massive that a large portion of Turkey moved as much as 10 feet westward (source), and the result is that the entire region has been swarmed with aftershocks—nearly 3,000.

When earthquakes of this magnitude strike, typically hundreds or thousands of aftershocks will follow for an extended period of time—weeks, months, even years. Jesus’ words in the Olivet Discourse of Matthew 24 about the “birth pangs” have now taken on sudden urgency and relevance like never before. The Church should be fervently praying.

Remember, Jesus spoke to his Jewish brethren about life in Israel leading up to his return. While earthquakes in distant places like New Zealand or Chile get our attention, nothing is quite as relevant as when the big one hits smack dab in the heart of prophetic ground zero. And now there has actually been a trigger for ongoing earthquakes across the Middle East for the foreseeable future.

Moreover, this quake may have put into motion tectonic activity leading up to bigger ones to come. Dr. Ata Richard Elias from the Lebanese University in Beirut has said that one more shift of the Arab plate would erase Lebanon off the face of the map.

Again, consider Jesus’ words:

Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Matthew 24:7

Looking at the search criteria HERE, you can confirm that this mega-quake was the largest to strike not only the Middle East, but large swathes of Europe, Africa, and Asia beyond the Middle East, since 1939. You can see the search region below:

At the moment it’s looking like 2023 is when prophetic signs are finally starting to boil over.

Until we’re gone, the Restrainer will restrain, but His restraining hand appears to be lifting this year.

Putting this in perspective:

  • Something of international concern happened the day right before this earthquake: the U.S. shot down the 200-foot-wide Chinese reconnaissance/EMP test balloon near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
  • The largest Middle East earthquake in 83 years shakes the whole Middle East and thousands of aftershocks are continuing across the region, and they will continue for the foreseeable future. Jesus’ prediction in Matthew 24:7 has never been more applicable than right now.
  • Putin is about to re-invade Ukraine with a massive 500,000-man army, and if NATO responds, there’s nothing left but World War III.
  • The Iran-Israel standoff is finally boiling over this year. Israel recently struck several facilities deep inside Iran in the city of Isfahan because Iran now has the materials to build somewhere between four and six bombs. Time has run out.
  • Next month will witness a sort of Babel 2.0 moment: the first orbital flight of the SpaceX Starship. It’s the first spacecraft capable of sending colonists to the moon or Mars. It’s my opinion that, just like the ancient tower of Babel, where the world tried to “reach up to heaven,” today’s world is crossing the line here and God will not allow this in mankind’s current fallen state.
  • The five red heifers are apparently still kosher and will be ready for slaughter this year. This would fulfill one of the final missing criteria for the rebuilding of Israel’s Temple. The heifers are necessary for cleansing the temple and making it ready for sacrifices.
  • The U.S. and Canadian governments are now claiming three “unidentified objects” were shot down over the U.S. and Canada and the wreckage is being retrieved. While these may end up being claimed to be advanced craft from Russia or China, this could also end up being a final unveiling of the Satanic deception of an alien invasion that could help the enemy to explain away the removal of the Church from the earth (2 Thess. 2:9-11). This story is now at the top of most national news sites (see herehere, and here).
  • Finally, the new Israeli government is the first religious government in the history of the modern state of Israel. We’ve waited 75 years for this alignment. This is a crucial end-time development in Israel’s Knesset and something very important I’ve tried to point out for years. Previous conservative coalitions were reliant on secular nationalists. Bibi’s coalition is reliant on the religious right. The significance is that this is the exact coalition you would expect to be in place for demanding Israel’s right to build the Temple and for stewarding the religious revival of the nation as it enters the Tribulation.

Several years ago I spoke that if God was to reject Donald Trump for a second term in office and instead, install Joe Biden, we could very well be entering the last four years of the Church Age. Indeed, I still stand by that possibility. Perhaps, though, it’s really the final ONE.

So if you would prefer not to experience the worst seven years in human history, it is my fervent plea that you instead believe the good news about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and call upon the name of the Lord to be saved today.

Zechariah 12-14
Signs and More Signs

‘The Return and Reign
of Jesus Christ’

Fotet.org

Did you know the Bible contains more prophecies about the Second Coming of Jesus than it does the First? In fact, the Bible says specific signs will appear prior to His return, and Jesus Himself commanded us to look for those signs!

The world’s problems and end-of-the-age prophetic signs are rapidly increasing which is one of the reasons we’re going to take a close look at the prophesies of Zechariah.

Zechariah 12–14 is loaded with end time signs! It’s hard to count them all with over 100 prophesies in 44 verses! The 3 chapters offer one of the most sweeping end-time passages in the Bible as God presents details of Israel’s future in graphic detail.

Remember how Israel was in captivity for 70 years in Babylon? Zechariah was probably born in those years and travelled back to the land to rebuild the temple.

Writing around 500 BC, the first 11 chapters focus on Christ’s first coming while chapters 12-14 focus on events surrounding the second coming of Jesus.

Zechariah 12-14 simply has no equal in the Old Testament. The prophecy is one of the richest prophetic passages, rising above all others in terms of the breadth of detail that it covers.

The extensive prophecy covers Israel’s dramatic last days beginning with today’s modern era including Israel’s return and re-birth in 1948 and her modern wars (’48, ’67, ’73). It continues through the Tribulation period with the dramatic repentance and salvation of Israel.

Beginning in chapter 14 the prophet moves into the Millennial Kingdom where we see the Tribulation survivors going up to worship King Jesus from year to year in the Feast of Tabernacles with Jesus on His Throne in Jerusalem.

The one challenge to the reader is that while most information is in chronological order, it sometimes circles back to highlight new details of a topic already discussed. The book of Revelation follows this same pattern. This can be a challenge at first as it jumps backwards without warning.

It also helps to know the prophecy contains 3 distinct invasions of Israel as follows:

1. The Arab invasions of Israel’s modern wars, (1948, 1967, 1973) Zech. 12:4-9

2. Antichrist’s invasion of Israel in the middle of the Tribulation capturing the West Bank and East Jerusalem (‘half the city’ – 14:2) – Zech. 14:1-3

3. The Battle of Armageddon offering a graphic depiction of nuclear war and God’s defeat of the nations – Zech. 14:4-7, 12-15

America Embracing Lawlessness, Sign of the Last Days!

America Embracing Lawlessness, Sign of the Last Days!

Increasing Lawlessness

One of the signs of the last days is lawlessness and America seems to be racing down its path.

7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.9The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders,10and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
2 Thess. 2:7-10

On his third day in office, Manhattan’s new District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, instructed his staff to stop the prosecutions of many serious crimes. They will no longer prosecute people for resisting arrest, prostitution, theft of services, or most instances of trespassing. Where he can, the new District Attorney is downgrading crimes like armed robbery from felonies to mere misdemeanors. That means people using a gun to commit robbery will, in some cases, be back on the streets without ever seeing the inside of a jail cell.

These changes, he said, will “make us safer.”

How would one go about destroying a free nation? When you think about it, the answer is obvious. Inundate that nation with the seeds of lawlessness, then water those seeds. Encourage the weeds of crime while removing good and fruitful plants. Get rid of things like order and justice and trim down the police force. Open the prisons. Make arrests meaningless. Reward evil and penalize good. Carefully nurture a garden of evil. That’s where it seems, the United States is headed.

This country has chosen to embrace and even celebrate all kinds of sin and debauchery. Unless the U.S. turns from this wickedness, it will fall. And that fall will devastate democracies everywhere. On our way down, Satan himself will use American dysfunction to bring ever-increasing chaos to the planet.

America has fallen to the moral bottom insisting that good is evil and evil is good and demanding the rest of the world follow our path to doom. We’ve pushed God out of our land and now we’re paying the price. The Bible describes this coming true in the last days. In Matthew, chapters 24 and 25, Jesus gives a discourse on the time leading up to His return. In Matthew 24:12, He said, “Lawlessness will abound.”
