Because He Lives
He Is The First Fruits of Our Resurrection

Beloved Friends and Child of the King:

In ancient Israel, as the days of winter gave way to spring, there was great rejoicing as the first crop of the season emerged from the ground.

Typically, sheaves of barley were the firstfruits – and they were the guarantee that more would soon rise from the earth.

Using this metaphor, the apostle Paul wrote of Jesus in regard to His resurrection:

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that sleep. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
1 Corinthians 15:20-23

The wonderful truth for believers is this:

Because Jesus arose from the grave, we too shall live! In Him, we have the absolute assurance that when He returns in the Rapture, all the dead in Christ will return with Him and be resurrected to life everlasting and all the living saints will be transformed in a moment and in the twinkling of an eye! Then the entire church shall ascend together with Christ to heaven! Because He lives, we shall live with life everlasting!

Beloved friend, we live in a time of great upheaval as the world rockets through the last days and teeters on the edge of eternity.

Morality in America is declining at an alarming rate. Anger and resentment toward those who hold to a Judeo-Christian ethic is growing, and Bible-believing Christians will be increasingly targeted for standing against the rising tide of moral depravity.

The level of political contentiousness and hostility in the U.S. will be unprecedented in the coming months with the Presidential Election further fracturing the widening rift that divides our nation. I believe it’s only a matter of time before these fault lines give way to a geo-political earthquake of a size and magnitude we’ve not seen before. How and when that occurs, I do not know; but I don’t think it’s far off.

The Middle East is a powder keg. Israel is at war, fighting for its very survival.

Yet Biden is abandoning our ally. He’s drawn a “red line” – impeding Israel’s ability to defend its citizens. Each decision he makes further undermines our ally and makes Israel weaker. The U.N. is waging lawfare on Israel as Israel’s enemies unite to eradicate her.

No one but our Father in Heaven knows with certainty what tomorrow will bring.

But in this special resurrection weekend – as faithful followers of Jesus Christ – may we sing this song of praise to our Lord with steadfast confidence:

“Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future – and life is worth the living just because He lives!”

Blinded By Hatred:
The Absurdity Of The Two-State Solution

And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away (move it from Israel to the Palestinians) will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.
Zechariah 12:3

As we inch closer to the Rapture and the 7-year Tribulation, the prophetic landscape continues to come into focus, one where the world is increasingly turning against Israel.

Now we’re seeing the Biden Administration strongly veering away from supporting Israel and following the same path as the rest of the world.

Here Are Three Examples:

Sanctioning Jews Living in the West Bank

On February 1, Joe Biden took the biggest step any U.S. president has ever taken against Israel’s so-called “settler” movement, the Jewish families living in the West Bank. He issued an executive order “imposing certain sanctions on persons undermining peace, security, and stability in the West Bank” and used this new authority to punish four Israeli settlers for violence against Palestinians and Israeli peace activists. But because the president’s directive dealt with the West Bank and not the war in Gaza, it was largely overlooked.

However, a careful reading of the order reveals that the move was no PR exercise. It was a warning shot—part of a deliberate strategy to splinter Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s right-wing coalition and to advance the cause of the two-state solution by broadcasting to the world that America now opposes Israel’s right to the West Bank.

Recently, Biden upped the ante and is now threatening to sanction entire subdivisions across the West Bank. In time, such a radical move could even tilt the scale to upend the U.S.-Israeli relationship, something that Satan is aiming to do.

Biden’s Shameful Betrayal of Israel at the United Nations

By allowing the United Nations Security Council to pass a resolution demanding an “immediate ceasefire” in Gaza while Hamas remains in power and still holds 130 hostages, the Biden administration has shamefully betrayed Israel, a key ally while empowering the terrorist group Hamas who is committed to Israel’s destruction.

Biden Building New Terrorist Port in Gaza: The Trojan Horse for Terrorists to Take Over the Region

The floating Gaza Sea Port disaster is moving forward as the Biden administration is intent on setting up this controversial naval port in Gaza waters in order to address the “made up humanitarian crisis.” The facts are that GAZA ALREADY RECEIVES ROUGHLY DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF FOOD that it did before the war. The entire livelihood and DNA of this ‘ever-needy’ and ‘never content’ abusive people is based upon demanding, receiving and consuming immense amounts of international aid, making them eternal and ungrateful beggars. Giving them more aid is not going to help them break free from their bondage.

The true reason for the food shortage in Gaza is the problematic distribution that is deliberately driven by Hamas to create the fake crisis in order to feed images to global audiences. The unnecessary naval port will exacerbate the problem by flooding the troubled area with additional unnecessary supplies, requiring IDF forces to protect U.S. personnel.

It is likely that the real goal of creating this floating port is not to import food (of which there already is an oversupply), but construction materials. This project will most probably be handed over to either Qatar or an “American-Palestinian-Administration” (Palestinian Authority) to manage, with the materials ending up in Hamas’ hands to rebuild their terror infrastructure. A very bad idea.

Logistically, it would be far simpler to use the existing high-tech and fast-loading Israeli port of Ashdod that is located a short distance (roughly 30 miles) north of Gaza. Traveling from the Ashdod Port to Gaza by truck, food and aid could be transferred faster and more securely, avoiding the immense expenses and security issues that will arise with this unnecessary floating port.

However, WISE LOGISTICS AND BETTER SECURITY ARE NOT THE GOALS behind this delusional vision. Samantha Power, Director of “U.S. AID“ which is responsible for American “humanitarian assistance” to the Palestinians, may have other ideas in mind. For years, she has proposed and encouraged the presence of UN or NATO forces on the ground in Gaza as well as Judea & Samaria to “protect” innocent Palestinians from Israeli aggression. Such a hellish scenario could place IDF and American forces in a very bad and confrontational situation, potentially repeating the 1983 Beirut incident where, under similar circumstances, IDF and American units nearly clashed.

We hope and pray that this floating port never materializes, and that UN or NATO forces never place foot in Israel! Such a scenario will bring us that much nearer to the irreversible dynamics of the end of the age when Israel finds herself standing all alone.

It was a foreign (and hostile) prophet, Balaam, who was one of the first prophets to clearly see that Israel’s national calling will cause her to also be isolated and rejected by all other nations.

Balaam spoke, “How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how shall I denounce whom the LORD has not denounced? For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him. There! A people dwelling alone, not reckoning itself among the nations…” (Numbers 23:8-9). Not a pretty sight, but necessary.

What’s Going On?

These are only three examples of the purposeful, anti-Israel policies of the Biden administration.

Israel currently finds itself in a war on all sides and being bombarded by worldwide threats to leave Hamas alone in Gaza. As if that wasn’t enough, a new gathering storm is coming by the threat of the world’s western nations banning together to impose the Two-State Solution on Israel without their permission or negotiation. And at a crucial time when Israel is in the middle of a war!

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is under attack from all sides despite doing an excellent job steering Israel through all the troubled waters since the pivotal events of October 7.

It’s vital to recognize that what’s driving these historic times is that the enemy knows his time is short and the Biden administration and their handlers recognize they are now in the fourth quarter. Satan is using the willing Biden administration to come down against Israel as hard as possible.

The Trump Card

The real possibility of a second Trump presidency is also a motivating factor for Biden’s public, radical change toward Israel. In 2021, it became clear to prophecy watchers like FOTET that Biden would be more useful to Satan in the White House than Trump and now for the last four years we’ve been watching this play out. Now America is again facing the very real possibility of four more years of Donald Trump’s pro-Israel policies. Satan can’t stand by and let this happen and is hedging his bet to wound Israel as much as possible making 2024 the ‘Hail Mary’ year for the enemy to finally get America dislodged from supporting Israel. So, hang on to your hat, the worst is surely yet to come.

But keep looking up for the blessed hope and the glorious appearance of the Lord! All of these things were foretold to happen just before Jesus returns for the church. Are you watching and ready?

Middle East Update

The Middle East

Here’s a summary from some of the key happenings over the last week!

Ramadan & Al Aqsa

Sadly for Hamas, Ramadan on the Temple Mount and at the Al Aqsa mosque didn’t pan out like they were hoping. Eighty thousand Muslims journeyed to the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. They were there for the first Friday prayers of Ramadan. The worshippers came, they prayed, then they went home. Hamas was crushed. They were desperately hoping for riots or protests or some sort of violence to break out – anything that they could point to that would show how the evil Israelis were determined to keep Muslims from worshipping at their holy mosque. Instead, it all went off without a hitch. Sorry Hamas. Better luck next Ramadan.

Hezbollah, Hamas, and Other Militias

A major criticism of the IDF has been the number of civilian casualties in Gaza and in the north in Lebanon and Syria. What these critics are failing to realize – or, more likely, failing to admit to – is the immoral human shield philosophy of Hamas and Hezbollah.

The whole reason the IDF is in civilian neighborhoods and hospitals and humanitarian areas is because that is where the terrorists have placed their soldiers, their weapons and armament storehouses, their rocket and bomb making factories, and their military headquarters. When the IDF goes in, it does all it can to protect innocent lives. That is the opposite of the terrorists who hope for high civilian casualty numbers. For them, the public relations boost from a picture of a dead baby more than makes up for the loss of the child’s life.

At the end of January, Newsweek published an opinion piece called “Israel Implemented More Measures to Prevent Civilian Casualties Than Any Other Nation in History”. The title says it all. And this isn’t just some biased rant by an Israeli sympathizer. Its author is John Spencer, chair of urban warfare studies at the Modern War Institute (MWI) at West Point and codirector of MWI’s Urban Warfare Project. In his article, Spencer wrote, “To be clear, I am outraged by the civilian casualties in Gaza. But it’s crucial to direct that outrage at the right target. And that target is Hamas.” Both Hamas and Hezbollah know they have no conventional weapons that can defeat the Israeli military. So, they will resort to their one ordnance powerful enough to bring them victory – public opinion.

Five senior leaders of pro-Iranian militias were eliminated in a targeted airstrike by the IDF in eastern Syria. One was a senior commander of Hezbollah. Last week also saw two attacks on Hezbollah weapons depots in the same area north of Damascus just two days apart. Meanwhile, in Lebanon, IDF airstrikes continue on Hezbollah sites.

Once the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had cleared Gaza City of Hamas, they directed their efforts south. As the battle raged in Khan Yunis, the terrorists sensed an opportunity. Quietly, they began sneaking back into Gaza City, reestablishing a secret base at Shifa Hospital. What they didn’t realize was that they were being watched. Once Hamas was settled in, the IDF sprung their trap. Military and Shin Bet forces surrounded the hospital and moved in. What they found inside was a lot of terrorists and a massive amount of weapons and armaments. Thus far, at least 90 Hamas members have been killed and 350 suspects have been arrested. Fa’ak Mabhouh, the head of the internal security operations department for the terrorist organization, was among the dead. This surprise attack was a major disappointment for Hamas.

In the West Bank, the battle continues to rage against Hamas. Yesterday, in Jenin, a car carrying three terrorists was destroyed in a surgical airstrike. In Tulkarm, more than 50 military jeeps, three bulldozers, and three Caterpillar D9 armored bulldozers entered the city for an operation. There were also reports of an aerial attack on the city’s militants. It is essential for the IDF to quell the terrorist tide building in the West Bank.

A growing number of Gazans are turning their backs on Hamas due to the terrorists’ penchant for stealing aid. A week ago, armed Palestinians began shooting at civilians who were waiting for a delivery of humanitarian relief. The armed gunmen continued to shoot at innocent men, women, and children after the aid trucks had arrived at the Kuwaiti roundabout in Gaza City. Dozens were killed and at least 150 were injured. Some of the dead had been run over by the aid trucks. More recently, a huge amount of humanitarian aid flour was discovered in a warehouse that had been recently bombed by the IDF. It is no wonder that cries of “May God protect you, Netanyahu” and “May God protect the Jewish people” were heard among those who had discovered the flour.

While Hamas has experienced major disappointments at home, they’re encouraged by what they are seeing overseas. The Canadian government announced Tuesday that it will halt future arms exports to Israel. While disappointing, it is not surprising. With Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in charge, it was not a matter of “if” but “when”. The sentiments of much of Western Europe are trending strongly in the same direction as Canada.

Of greatest concern is the intentional drift of the United States from Israel, led by the woke liberal left. Last week, in a speech highly critical of Israel’s handling of the war, US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he better straighten up his act. Otherwise, “the United States will have no choice but to play a more active role in shaping Israeli policy by using our leverage to change the present course.” He also included in his speech a call for early elections in Israel. This prompted Netanyahu to remind the senator that Israeli elections fall under the purview of the Israeli people, adding, “We’re not a banana republic.”

But it is not just Schumer who is trying to insert the United States into critical Israeli decision-making. Both President Joe Biden and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan made it clear that the IDF going into Rafah would be a big mistake. Biden even went so far as to call it a “red line” before backtracking and saying, “So there is no red line…”, and then adding, “But there’s red lines….” Um, thanks for the clarification. Netanyahu responded by assuring the US administration and the Israeli people that Israel will be going into Rafah. He added, “You know, I have a red line. You know what the red line is? That October 7 doesn’t happen again. Never happens again.”

Early Monday morning, an explosion was heard in an open area near Eilat in the south of Israel. The cause of that explosion was a cruise missile fired by Yemen’s Houthi rebels. The Israeli Air Force tracked the missile the whole way and, once it was determined that it was bound for open space, chose not to waste a rocket to shoot it down. Still, this marked the first time that a projectile fired by the Houthis has reached Israeli territory.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) issued a press release Monday telling of a successful engagement against the Houthis in which seven anti-ship missiles, three UAVs, and three weapons storage containers were destroyed. These weapons posed an immediate threat to both merchant and navy ships.

Vladimir Putin won reelection to the Russian presidency on Monday with 87% of the vote. This was a surprise to absolutely no one. But not all is rosy for President Putin. Saturday saw drone hits on two oil refineries, one in Krasnodar region and one in Samara oblast. These refinery strikes are happening more and more often, and the Russian military has yet to figure out an answer to stopping them. The next day, explosive drones hit Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow forcing it to suspend operations for a time.

Today’s Hamas-Gaza Conflict Goes back to Ishmael, Isaac!

Today’s Hamas-Gaza Conflict
Goes back to Ishmael, Isaac!

To understand the Middle East conflict over the land of Palestine, we must recognize that the religious objections of the Muslim nations to the existence of the State of Israel is an ageless spiritual battle between God and Satan!

Today’s war over Palestine goes back to the Garden of Eden, not just to the rebirth of the modern State of Israel in 1948.

It was in the Garden where God cursed the serpent and warned him that a SEED would one day come and crush his head (Genesis 3:15).

The promised SEED and ‘HEAD CRUSHER’ to come was Jesus! And since he would be brought to earth through the descendants of Abraham, Isaac (not Ishmael), Jacob (not Esau), and the 12 tribes of Israel, it began Satan’s assault to eradicate the line of the Jewish people!

Mysteries Of Spiritual Warfare

– Daniel 10 –

3/13/24 By Tim Buck

Daniel 10 reveals the heavens as a great angelic battlefield. Daniel understood the battle and how to wage war. He entered spiritual warfare through prayer and fasting.

In Daniel 10, we see Daniel as a dedicated servant of the Most High God who through prayer and fasting, received the longest prophecy in Scripture (Daniel 10-12) that was then interpreted to him by the angel Gabriel! How do you prepare to receive God’s best?

Daniel prayed and fasted for 3 full weeks, purposely entering into a spiritual battle for his people. His season of fasting was finally interrupted by the appearance of Jesus Christ!

Isn’t it interesting that when you seek God, you will find Him!

Daniel also had a humble heart. His heart of humility prepared him to receive God’s revelation and to stand in the very presence of God.

In this class, find out how prayer and fasting release God’s power in the spiritual realm.

We will also answer these questions that loom large throughout the chapter:

What is the identity of the man with the FACE OF LIGHTENING?

What are the assignments of dispatched angels?

Do angels rule the nations, regions, places, and people?

What is the meaning of the sequence of the appearance of the two princes from Persia and Greece in Gabriel’s discussion?

What is the “chain of command” among angels?

What is the meaning of the mysterious “book of truth” and where is it? Can we see it?

It’s time to have warfare prayer and be an overcomer like Daniel!

Our country needs it, Israel needs it, our family needs it and we need it!

1. When you pray, you invoke the highest name and the highest authority in the universe. The name of Jesus.

2. Remember, “the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man” is the prayer that gets God’s attention!

3. The practice of fasting adds fuel to the power of prayer.

Do you want to live in Christ’s victory?
