LAST CHAPTER
The end of the story in God’s Word is very good!
It’s good because God is good to His people and fulfills His promises!
We’ve arrived at Daniel Chapter 12 in our 3-year quest of studying the prophesies of Daniel. Chapter 12 is the last chapter of Daniel and although short with 13 verses, it gives numerous insights not found elsewhere in the Bible. Amazing insights loaded with God’s hidden gems!
The title of our 3-year study in Daniel has been “Daniel Unsealed” which comes from,
Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end.
Daniel 12:9
Most scholars believe the best interpretation of this verse is that God will reveal a fuller understanding of Daniel’s prophesies as we get closer to the Second Coming.
If you thought you understood the book of Daniel from how you first heard it taught (like I did) in the 1960’s or 80’s or even 2000, you might want to prayerfully restudy it again… and again.
There’s been quite a reformation of understanding Daniel’s prophesies in the last two decades as we get closer to the Rapture of the Church and the start of the 7-year Tribulation, just as the prophecy says.
For instance, we now understand that every chapter in Daniel, in addition to the meaning of its immediate context also includes a message about Israel during the Tribulation period. For example, just as the Lord protected the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace (chapter 3), the Lord will protect Israel through the fiery trial of the Tribulation,
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Isaiah 43:2
The need for the fuller understanding of Daniel comes since Israel is about to enter the danger zone of the Tribulation period where clarity becomes vital to her survival. Getting the meaning of each of Daniel’s prophesies correct will be lifesaving to 10’s of thousands of Jews and Gentiles who become believers in Jesus after the Rapture.
Daniel 12 introduces us to the second half of the Tribulation which corresponds to Matthew 24:15-26 and Revelation 12.
To compliment our study of Daniel 12:1-7, our “GREAT CHAPTER OF BIBLE PROPHECY” for this class is Revelation 12. Both Daniel 12 and Revelation 12 deal with the alarming events surrounding Israel during the last three and one half years of the Tribulation, also described as, “times, time and half a time” by Jesus in Daniel 12:7.
Can it really be true—the United States not in Bible prophecy after all that Trump is doing for Israel?

This is another indication of how close we are getting to the Rapture!
