“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ”
2 Cor. 5:20

The loud daily din of the news media opining away about the evils of anyone who doesn’t agree with their form of liberalism takes a toll. The constant stream of fake news leaves people confused over what to believe. The visceral words emanating from the mouths of elected representatives of the people characterizing those who disagree with them in foul terms wound the nation. Celebrities have gone wild in portraying as outcasts those who disagree with their humanist ideals.

We are living in a time when civility has become rare. That’s because we are in the midst of the enemy’s campaign designed to bring about the meltdown of America and at a time when the world is deteriorating at a rapid pace as we race toward the end of the age! What to do?

In the midst of this, be encouraged. We as Christians have a mission and a purpose. The main thing is to represent Christ! We are the Lord’s Ambassadors who are called to represent Him first.

Take heart. We are to speak the truth in love (Eph. 4:15), overcome evil with good (Rom. 12:21), and not grow weary in well doing (Gal. 6:9). These are simply a few of the ways to demonstrate the Holy Spirit’s power in our lives and how the Lord can use us every day.

Every phone call you make. Every post you write. Every email you send. Every word you speak, be encouraged and speak a word about the main thing! The Lord’s promise is that His Word will never return void!

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
Isaiah 55:10–12

Be bold in fulfilling your responsibility about warning people.

”When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.”
Ezekiel 3:18-19

No matter how long this goes on until the Rapture, no matter how difficult things become, do what the Lord tells you to do to speak truth and include words of warning as kindly as possible. As you do this unto the Lord, you have made a transfer, so to speak, from yourself to others. It is now up to them. You have done your part serving up the main thing!

God sent his only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins that we might have life everlasting. The main thing is to share that in word and deed! It’s up to us to “live out our salvation” (Phil. 2:12).

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.”
2 Corinthians 4:7–10
Keep going. Keep doing. Keep pressing on. You never know when your action may be that last full measure needed to advance God’s plan. Never give up. Keep looking up!
