The Chairman of the right wing Zehut party said Wednesday that he wants to rebuild the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem immediately.
“I don’t want to build the Temple in one or two years, I want to build it now,” Moshe Feiglin said at a recent Jerusalem Post conference in Israel.
Imagine that, a guy name Moses running for office in Israel under the banner of leading the nation to build their Temple!
Feiglin’s plank also says the Temple should be built on the Temple Mount, referring to the site that currently houses the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque and where both Jewish Temples stood in the past.
Feiglin’s Zehut party made a solid showing in the cancelled April election in Israel and poles now have them gaining momentum in the run up to the coming September 17 do-over election.
Israel’s Third Temple
Fulfils Biblical Prophecy
The Orthodox community is made up of traditional Jews living in Israel that believe in the Old Testament and Jehovah but do not recognize Jesus as Messiah.
As a group, the Orthodox continue to grow and influence policy and politics and are especially strong in their desire to see the Temple built.
In another recent example, when Jerusalem was heading into their last mayoral election the Sanhedrin urged both running candidates, Ofer Berkovich and Moshe Lion, to be prepared to rebuild the temple if elected.
The first two Temples of Jerusalem were constructed on the city’s Temple Mount centuries ago but were razed to the ground by the Babylonians and the Romans respectively.
The Temple plays a crucial role in Jewish tradition and is a central player in Israel’s Peace Treaty with Antichrist which is the focus of our upcoming class.
Join us Tuesday as we break down the importance of Israel’s end time peace treaty with Antichrist and discuss the prophetic implications of the Trump Peace Plan.
