Focus on the End Times (FOTET) Ministry heralds the good news that Jesus is coming again! For over 30 years, Tim has been warning the church about the signs of the end times and teaching how to identify the signs surrounding the coming of Jesus. Blessed by his unique ability to see today’s Middle East and world events through the lens of Bible Prophecy, he brings clarity for explaining their prophetic relevance in his easy-to-understand style of teaching.
Tim also brings a contagious excitement for God’s word and believes that since so much of the Bible contains prophecy (25%), God must want His children to know what it means and to understand its message for today! Through the maze of 1000’s of verses FOTET students begin to realize that Bible prophecy is not just for the scholarly but can be understood by everyone. In an age of wild speculations regarding the end times, Tim’s students appreciate his insights and teaching style as sensible, rather than a sensational approach to teaching the end times.
The Three Beatitudes of Prophecy
My desire is to ignite passion in God’s people to study the word as it relates to the end times.Tim Buck
Everyone wants to “be blessed” but a lot of Christians may not understand that there are special blessings for learning prophecy. When it comes to reading and studying prophecy and the book of Revelation, Jesus promised three special blessings or beatitudes found no where else in the Bible,
“ Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near.”(Revelation 1:3)
Blessed are those who hear the words of prophecy
Blessed are those who read the words of prophecy
Blessed are those who keep the words of prophecy
These blessings belong to all God’s children as many students of prophecy have experienced and they are part of Tim’s personal testimony. At age 20, God used Bible prophecy to draw Tim to salvation. Shortly after becoming a Christian, he spent 4 years in Bible College and 4 years in Seminary preparing for the ministry.
After seminary and entering the ministry, Tim began his lifelong journey of discerning Biblical prophecy and teaching how it applies to us today. It’s become Tim’s personal challenge to demonstrate the love of God through teaching prophecy while warning the church to be ready. Getting the facts straight is important but not as important as a life that glorifies the Lord,
“I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.”
1 Thess. 6:14-16
